This particular ServiceMaster franchise was excellent, and I have already recommended it to friends. They arrived at our house within a few hours of the initial request by our State Farm adjuster. They thoroughly scoped out the work and listened to our concerns. Before removing all the water-damaged engineered wood flooring and underlayment, they carefully removed the wood baseboard so it could be used again. They carried a number of items up to our garage once we found that water had seeped into the pantry area. The enormous dehumidifier and 12 fans certainly did a great job drying out our basement. Everyday someone stopped by to check on the job. I no longer worry about mold. After removing their equipment, they did a wonderful job sweeping the floor, dusting cabinetry and countertops, and verifying that all was well. Best of all, they were very friendly and conscientious. True professionals!
Brian and Kim Schumacher were very quick to respond to our water leakage. They know their job and are professional. Thanks to them everything dried out quicker. We've had 4 wood flooring companies come out, for bids, 14 to 16 days later, tested the floors, amazed that they are dry, and are not damaged more. None of them have seen this before. The contractor that came couldn't believe. Everyone of them asked who did it, and could they have their #.
The crew were very professional but at the same time felt like friends. Very respectful and great insight. I would never use anyone else. I had to leave and I was very comfortable leaving the crew here to lock up when done. Trust speaks volumes.
