Although we are the owners of the home & haven't seen the damage or results of ServiceMaster's work, we have spoken to several people (tenant & property manager).
I think one of the most important reasons is the reaction time of ServiceMAster after receiving the call for service which limited the flood damage to the basement walls. ServiceMaster also quickly cleaned & dried the interior.
ServiceMaster was the company recommended by our homeowner's insurance to extract the water caused by a failed hot water heater. My overall experience with ServiceMaster was excellent. Although at first, I was upset that the ceramic tile flooring in front of the wet bar was damaged. After bringing this to the attention of the agent, Blake, at ServiceMaster promptly dispatched a restoration agent to assess the damage. Leah was extremely helpful in getting our basement back to functioning. Our basement consists of a laundry room, bedroom & closet, hallway, stairs, large family room with 2 closets, and a wet bar. The flooring in all of those areas had to be replaced as a result of the hot water heater failure as well as the damage to the ceramic tile when the carpeting was removed. From start to finish, Leah was a delight to work with. Her professionalism is exceptional. She checked the status of the work every day that the installers were here. She also explained in great detail all of the expenses involved in the restoration and worked with our homeowner's when it was clear the agent had not accurately reported all the damage. What started as a nightmare for us turned into a great final product thanks to Blake and Leah.
