Everyone is friendly and there isn’t a competitive for judgy vibe. That helps me feel safe and comfortable as I’m trying to keep my body strong & healthy in my 40s!
I like all the classes. I like the times. I use the steam room 3 times a week. Last time there, it was not working and had trash on the floor. We need to keep these rooms running and clean.
My favorite activity is water exercise in the pool.
We were very sad when our aquatic instructors days were reduced. Subsequently she resigned.
On the bright side we ( swimmers from the class)
Continue to meet three times a week at 7:15 am -
We carry on with peer led exercises.
Complement to the aquatic staff for keeping the water quality so well.
The facility is kept very clean, including the rest/shower areas. The equipment including the sauna and steam room is functional. Staff are diverse and friendly.
It is easy to schedule classes online with the app.
The machines are kept very clean by the staff, between members cleaning up after themselves.
The people working the front desk are almost always lovely, greeting people as they arrive, and are very helpful when you have a question.
The Y is self-directed, i.e., i can walk on the track when it’s convenient , or swim or access the fitness equipment. The facilities are very nice and clean. The people on staff are incredibly willing to help and are welcoming to newcomers. Important to me: no annoying music is being played, only the sounds of people enjoying working out/playing is heard.
It seems a happy place of community. It is pleasant to see all ages having something designed just for them.
