Shady Grove offers a wide variety of of activities for all ages on a daily basis.
I like that you offer a variety of programs, including pickleball--would LOVE to see dedicated courts AND 40+ or 50+ play times... Playing with the kids is challenging to say the least.
The instructors are always friendly and nice. The front desk, probably 8/10 times, calls me by name when I come in. It's nice to be called by name!
I love the Women on Weights small group classes led by Miriam. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. I also love the feeling of community. There are people of all ages, families, children, etc., and most people are courteous and non-judgmental.
Thank you to all who help keep the facility and the grounds clean. Special thanks to the man we see while we’re on treadmill getting up any trash outside in the parking area and the fields! He is awesome!
I like to see more activities for Seniors. Organize day trip excursions to historical places.
Engagement in activities like learning to sew, crotchet, knit, art works for beginners intermediate.
Learning a new Language etc
Too many ideas. I stop here.
Outstanding instructors . Shout out to Stacey Zebrowski, Lorraine Poole, Kusuma Prasanna, and Rachel Barbuto. The Pilates, Barre, Zumba, and Yoga classes are excellent. Clean facility, good class for times of day.
I like the variety of group classes, but I don't like that you have to sign up. Were paying for a membership, classes should be open to all at anytime. Perhaps use larger classrooms..
The women at the front desk are very helpful. They welcome each person checking in and even note when it is someone’s birthday.
Janet Nugent is a great Water Strides instructor.
She remembered me after an 11 year absence!
I love how the YMCA is so active with classes and something for all ages.
