Although this is the first time I've done Crossfit as I've been talking to people I understand stand that some Crossfit gyms would really push people to add weight that ultimately resulted in injuries. I have never felt any pressure from Denny to add more weight than I am comfortable with.
The coaches are very knowledgeable on cross fit training. If an athlete needs to scale down because of an injury or isn't comfortable doing an exercise they are great on knowing what to recommend for them. Everyone in the gym is welcoming and encouraging. The atmosphere makes you want to go back!!!!
I have been doing CrossFit for a little over two years and would not have believed if you told me how much I would love lifting weights and getting stronger. I started at age 54 and because of the great coaching staff at Crossfit Oakdale have increased strength, endurance and agility. It is hard work but they teach you to modify everything to your ability and have celebrated my successes as much as I do. I love my CFO family and the community we share!
