The staff has always been amazing. My 11 year old attended when she was in Kindergarten and was in Ms. Abdullah’s class. The progress she made was unlike anything we’d ever observed. When she entered elementary school the following year, she was able to skip a grade! When my son was ready for Kindergarten, we knew Ms. Abdullah had to be his teacher. When he started her class, we were concerned he may have to repeat it, but after a few months of teaching from Ms. Abdullah, assured by Ms. Jessica, my son was able to learn triple digit math and subtraction and read and write on an advanced level. Where he started and where he is now are like night and day. I have a younger daughter entering Kindergarten next year and we will be returning to Silverline for the third time solely because of Ms. Abdullah and her AMAZING teaching methods. The level that she teaches and invests in the kids is unparalleled and we absolutely love her. I wish more schools followed her teaching methods because it just goes to show that kids are never too young to learn. The staff has been amazing over the years and we’re so blessed and honored to have our children part of the program. Thank you!

I cannot express enough how wonderful Silverline Montessori is. The knowledge my children have gained over the years far surpasses what other children their age have learned. My youngest child can be challenging to engage in activities. He is very active, bright, and full of energy. This school year, Ms. Abdullah has continued to impress us with the various things she has taught our son. Despite being only 5 years old, he has learned to read, add and subtract double digits, understand fractions, and so much more during his time with her. My daughter, who is now 14, also benefited greatly from Ms. Abdullah's teaching. She started kindergarten at a public school already a year ahead of most kids. Ms. Jessica is another teacher who assists Ms. Abdullah, and I always feel confident leaving my busy boy in their care. My son is quite active and definitely keeps us on our toes, but every morning when I drop him off, I never worry about his safety or mental health. Ms. Jean is absolutely amazing! She does it all! From driving the bus and managing the breakfast area to organizing every field trip, she somehow keeps up with the kids! My younger brothers, who are now 25 and 20, also attended Silverline. We will always consider the Silverline staff part of our extended family. Ms. Sarah and Ms. Mickey truly care about the well-being of the children and ensure that every child knows they are loved. No kid is ever overlooked.

I like the open door policy. The fact that I can come in and go directly to the classroom without being stopped or announced lets me know the educators are comfortable with transparency and likely not trying to hide things. The family atmosphere is also nice. I love seeing teachers hug and bond with students and parents and truly getting to know the students and their families. Meeting the needs of my children beyond learning is important to me. If they are unusually hungry, tired, emotional or just need a little extra TLC, it means a lot that the staff tries to comfort them, connect with them and meet the need.

We have had a wonderful experience at Silverlake Montessori. My son’s teachers are truly dedicated, caring, and invested in their students’ success. They create a positive learning environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and challenged academically. What stands out most is how attentive and patient his teachers are. They take the time to ensure each child understands the material while also building confidence and character. Communication with parents is consistent and clear, which makes it easy to stay involved. The school fosters a strong sense of community, and it’s evident that the staff genuinely care about the students’ growth — not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. We are grateful for the quality education and supportive environment our child receives there. I would absolutely recommend this school to other families seeking a nurturing, academically strong elementary experience.

My daughter is in the infant class and we love that each class she’s been in, has both an English and Spanish speaking teacher. We LOVE that they’re always on the floor engaging with the kids and the kids aren’t in containers (bouncers, swings) all day like most daycare. They get plenty tummy time, the teachers there actually love engaging with the kids and will help them develop their milestone. Picky eater ? They’ll work with them too!
