Love this gym! Truly a great community. I've been a member for close to 10 years and feel like its the best in town.
I think it would be great to do like a customer appreciation type social activity for members to socialize and get to know each other and the trainers better. Possibly due a feature each month of a trainer or member and their fitness story?
Another idea would be to do a trainer talk each month, maybe in a workout studio on a particular topic. Diet, macros, fitness competitions etc.,
Really enjoy your gym (South Sky location). Staff has been pleasant to deal with and I like that there two open areas/ crossfit area where you can do HIIT/ Bodyweight style training. Many gyms are so crammed with machines that they lack any open training space.
Wish the freeweight area was larger with a dedicated space to do deadlifts.
Occasionally the group classes overtake the open areas and interfere with individual training.
Like the heavy (punching) bags, but I have lately noticed that the long (Muay Thai) bag doesn't swing freely anymore.
All in all though, a definite value for the money.
The machines are new and well maintained, there is a variety to choose from, and staff is friendly and helpful. I do wish there was a Zumba class and sometimes the weekend classes are only available in the morning-weekends are for sleeping in! 😜
