Slipping gears is excellent, and the prices for parts and service are phenomenal. I run a bike rental shop professionally, and these guys are better than any other bike mechanic I've ever worked with. I bring all my fleet bikes to them when they need repair. Hands down my favorite bike shop.

Staff are very friendly & accommodating. I have brought my young nephew many times who has a penchant for taking his bikes apart & not getting them back together. They have always patiently helped him & explained what they are doing. He loves going there and being treated like a “big boy”. Excellent staff!

Kudos to the folks from Slipping Gears. They were very knowledgeable and patient in helping us select a different seat post and helmets for our e-bikes. We really like that they are an Aventon dealer and are close to Northern Maine. Their prices are very reasonable and they are one of the few that offer veteran discounts. Thanks again..Ed L.

I brought my bike in for a tune-up, and Slipping Gears completed it quickly. And they were kind enough to let me keep my bike there when I was stuck at work and couldn't get it.
