I like the skills our children are taught and that the sport is a fun experience. There's no pressure or competition. The coaches are patient and approachable, making it easy for the children to ask questions.
I enjoyed the program for my two year old! I do have many recommendations for improvement, as it was very fun. However in the future I’d suggest spreading end and start times out with about 5 mins in between, to allow the current group to clear the field before the next session. Or simply let parents of the next session know to stay in their vehicles or off to the side of the field to allow the current session to finish and/or depart. On two separate occasions the next session came onto the field with the 2-3 yrs old and this could’ve been trouble as they’re much bigger. Also, possibly stating extra family members are not allowed on the field (parents only). During the minis final session they had a scrimmage and another child’s older brother came onto the field basically playing and interfering with the scrimmage. He could’ve hurt a little player and more so we pay money for our 2-3 yr olds not older children to be present. Other than that, my little enjoyed and we will be returning for the Spring season!!
I love the coaches. They are fun and knowledgeable. They are super patient with the little ones and make learning fun for them. The coaches make sure all the children feel proud of themselves and encourage them to have practice sportsmanship.
It's a sweet program for kiddos to get started with!
We've had mostly very good experiences in park programs with both of our kids. This season was particularly good with Coach Zach and Coach Cat at Rosewood Park! They were fun, high-energy, and kind - excellent coaches.
We absolutely loved Coach Jack and how he was able to begin to explain the basics of soccer to our daughter and her teammates. Such a great program and top-notch coach! We can’t wait for our next season with soccer shots.
Our daughter is extremely active and she absolutely loved soccer shots. We appreciate the early introduction and structure that comes from contributing to a team and cooperating with others.
