I liked that kids were allowed to be kids, the coaches were kind in all redirects and inclusive even with little siblings, and that all the basics were taught during the brief season. Our 7yo son who has level two autism enjoyed his experience and gained a great deal of social, athletic, and sportsmanship skills.
There are many times and dates offered so it is easy to find something that works for your schedule. I also like that it is focusing on learning the basic skills and not just playing a game without knowing how to do anything. I love the addition of teaching a character trait each week as well - my nephew is still saying “DE- TERM- INA- TION” all the time and actually knows what it means!
The way it's fostering sportsmanship and fundamental coordination skills in my son is amazing. His baby sister will be joining him soon. The price is also staying affordable for our family.
