We have been doing the Saturday morning soccer shot session in Willow Run Park for the fall session and my son has loved it. He has grown so much during this time in the three-year-old class. Definitely off to a rocky star as the first instructor who had been trained for our session, was not very engaging with the kids, and ended up being a no-show for one of the sessions (that we were not refunded or made up for). A blessing though because after that we had Coach Suzy and then more regularly, Coach Kevin and Coach Casey. All of which did a great job. Coach Kevin especially we cannot say enough great things about. He is the example of how all coaches should be - fun and active with the kids and engaging. He got them moving and ran and worked with each of them embracing the kids natural inclination to competition to get them moving.
The only thing I would ask is to find a week night option for the Port Orange area. We would have loved to do Soccer Shots again but Saturday’s are not always great for us. I see a lot of other areas offer sessions after 5pm and would love to have something similar.
Our coach was fantastic. He was patient with the kids while keeping them focused. He kept his energy up and made sure every student got the same amount of focus on them.
I liked the convenience of where the classes are held, and I love that the coach incorporates games and pretend play into teaching the skills. It certainly increased my sons' engagement and interest in soccer.
I like the way they are patient with the kids, how understanding they are that there are times when my son may not feel ok or be up to playing and they give him the time to gather himself and then continue with the lesson when he’s feeling better. I also like the fact that they teach him in a fun way so that he can remember the instructions, so thank you for all that you do for your students.
I loved having the consistency of the same coach throughout the season. The coach was very kind and had an organized lesson that focused on character building as well as soccer skills. My son was always excited to go to soccer practice and excited to show His new soccer skills!
Coach Matt was fantastic, I was so impressed with him from day 1!! He immediately knew every kids name and had an incredible amount of patience. His assistant coaches particularly Jeff were also amazing and so patient. We enrolled CJ at just before two and to watch his skills grow and develop throughout the season was so fun. It’s also his favorite thing. He learned the word soccer immediately and looks forward to each session. It’s become part of his main list of things he loves including favoring the shoes that we got to match his uniform, just because they are the “soccer” shoes.

Merchandise is confusing though. I would appreciate toddler sizing. I had to guess for his next session, the clothes are way too big and the merchandise shop won’t get back to me to help with an exchange or refund.
My developmentally delayed child has been thriving this past year with coach Kevin. His confidence has flourished since starting with the program in January and we will be sticking with the program until he ages out.
Coach Kevin is amazing and is able to keep the young toddlers engaged and having fun (which is not easy)! I love that the time slot is just enough to get energy out but also to keep their attention. My son has learned some fun skills already and he loves to play so I will continue signing him up!
