We’ve done Soccer Shots twice now and loved it! The instructors have all been amazing and I love the focus on teamwork and respect. I have zero complaints with my daughters experience the last two seasons!
My only feedback for how it could be better - I think that it would be helpful to have the instructors verbally set expectations for parents on the first day.
Ex) if someone’s child is not following directions (hanging on the net, running outside the cones, not be respectful, etc) should the parent intervene immediately? Or will the coach try to work it out with them as needed and then either send the child over to the parents for a small break/call the parent over to intervene?
I think it is helpful for kids this age to be able to receive feedback/instructions from someone other than their parents, but if the behavior is excessive, some parent intervention is helpful - and it would be nice if a process was set for this on the first day so we all know what to do and what to let our coaches handle!
Coach Jameson was so patient and kind to the kids. I love the life skills your program teaches and the structure provided. Couldn’t recommend it more!!
We’ve loved that not only are the kids getting soccer skills, but mental and life skills as well. It’s really built up our child’s confidence! The coaches are AMAZING with the kids as well.
The coaches were amazing. Coach Jameson was such a good energy and took time with each of the kids. We have been so impressed the entire season. It's not easy to wrangle that many kids and keep it fun. We are sad soccer is over and will enroll again in the spring!
We love getting our child involved. It’s just the right amount of socializing for her.
Only critique is we have had a few different coaches and the coach is definitely the reason whether your child does well or not, one coach talked to our daughter like a baby and it didn’t go well all season, the other coach she’s had is amazing and she loved them both.
