I’m mostly there for Pickleball on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I really appreciate the open gym for that. It’s also a very nice facility with good gym equipment.
Southwest needs another XRIDE. I have a bad knee. There's only 3 cardio machines that I can use. If those machines are in use and that's discourages me to wait around. Some people don't limit the use to 30mins or something reasonable.
Absolutely love the youth sports program through the ymca. I just signed my kiddos up for another session. They have grown tremendously and they look forward to going each week. Very impressed.
I think all the instructors for auqazise are good and trying to improve our physical movements with the time we have. It's a good workout.
I would like the swim guards be more outgoing to see if the older adults and disabled need anything, I do realize that they are young and need to become more friendly
The weights are hard to get too.
This is just a few. Not all of the guards
The variety of classes and equipment gives options for exercising.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
It is evident that building “ community” in this branch is valued.
I go to the brain and balance classes on Monday and Wednesday.
The instructors are great and they provide many exercises to strengthen my balance.
I am able to take these activities home and work on them in a private setting.
Thanks for providing these classes for us.
Good variety of classes and times. Since there’s a website telling times and instructors it would be helpful if this was updated with changes so that we don’t show up only to find out there is no class (that’s mainly true for aquatics).
I love how family friendly the YMCA is. I enjoy the late morning workout classes and the comradery and consistency in the people who attend. I met one of my best friends in a HIIT class at the Y!
The affordable price. The opportunity to build relationships with coaches and players by requesting to be on the same team. The focus on sportsmanship and teamwork over winning.
