We love it when the pool is warm and the air in the pool room is also warm ( not blowing down cold on our heads) we like one the one family changing room with the hand held shower is available for us to use!! We like using the pool table, and also shooting hoops! We especially like the open swim is available for long periods of time each day. We appreciate Brian and all the customer security And-service at the front desk…( even coffee sometimes in the afternoon). We appreciate Henry and the rest of the lifeguards too!
I love the facilities, everything is very clean, and there's so much variety & so many different programs and things to participate in. I do think the kids zone staff could be a little more friendly though. As someone who worked in child care for several years, I find it very odd when they don't welcome the kids or say hello or goodbye. Some are very nice but some seem pretty grumpy, like they don't want to be there, & it's not fun to leave your child in that kind of atmosphere. I love everything else about the Y, I just think the kids zone staff could be more sociable, friendly, & welcoming.
The nicest people are at this Y! The director is awesome and I do see a bit more diversity! I will say the pool has a bit too much chlorine. It literally burns so I don’t go as often as I would like! I love how there’s plenty of workout equipment for every level of ability! It is a safe space for anyone or any body type! Step into your best self one day at a time here!
The atmosphere at SpartanNash is always so friendly and welcoming - from arriving at the front desk to leaving that same area. Plus, I like the mix of people - from toddlers to old folks in every shape and form. The Y is doing a great job opening up the facility to lots of different people with varying needs.
Totally enjoy ALL the water aerobics classes. Happy they added an additional aerobics class on Tuesday. (9:30) using a different instructor providing a change in work out.
