I have been going to Sports Clips for the past few years, but the quality has dropped significantly on each visit.
Firstly, the upselling is out of control. Three visits ago, the lady cutting my hair told me about a powder that would help my hair stick up, which I bought. Then, during the next visit, another one told me about a shampoo I liked and picked up. But this time, I hadn't even sat down before the person cutting my hair started trying to sell me on some tea tree conditioner. It became incredibly uncomfortable when she spent the first 15 minutes talking about how I should buy the conditioner, and I kept saying "Maybe". I felt like my account says "Will buy stuff" and each time the upsell becomes more aggressive, turning me off from wanting to return.
Next, my haircuts have been wildly inconsistent. Four visits ago, I'd give the haircut a 3/10, which I blamed on either my mistake or not stating what I wanted correctly. I had purposefully been growing out my hair, but despite my asking to keep it long, they cut it short again, and I had to start over. Then the next one was decent, a 5/10; the next time it was a great haircut, 9/10. Then this time it is easily the worst haircut I've ever gotten. I showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted, and she cut the left side of my hair fine, but on the right, it's still incredibly long and poofing out. I'm genuinely going to another place to fix what she did.
Honestly, I don't know how to make things right. These two instances have turned my feelings about your brand from positive, where I used to tell people to go there, to negative. I don't think I'll be revisiting Sports Clips, and I am trying to find a new place to cut my hair more consistently and correctly.

Kim in Camarillo is a professional, kind and caring. She has cut my hair several times and she recommended products for my hair which I use daily. I took my 8 year old Grandson, Kim cut his hair. He was happy and pleased with her services . He told me not to take him anywhere else for haircuts. He told his parents of his great experience!!
