This was the second visit my autistic son and I made to see Angie. As a mom to an autistic toddler, outings in general make you nervous. But a haircut? He hates them, but I feel he deserves to look his best even if he can’t communicate that to me. Exposure is a key component to learning new things and that’s what we’re doing. Angie was so kind and gentle with my son. She knew when to move on to another part of the haircut when he was getting overwhelmed and when to break completely. She is the best and we can’t wait to see her next month.
