Took my son in there for a haircut and the stylist made sure to ask him questions about what he wanted, if he liked the length, etc. She wanted to make sure that he was happy and satisfied with his cut. I love that since the barber his father takes him to doesn't give him what he asks for.
I gave a 10 just because I don't want to get anyone in trouble, they are just doing their jobs. But I likely won't return to this location. It is always chaos because there is never any staff. That is on the ownership of the store. Other hair cut places have no problem hiring and keeping stylists on payroll, so you are doing something wrong. One day I went in there a couple months ago and all of the women working were from different stores. I've been in there many times in recent months with only one girl working, even on weekends. It has been this way for years now, with no improvement.
The other thing I can't stand is that recently they are pushing the MVP hair wash like used car dealers selling warranties. I always get a shower and wash my hair immediately before I go to get a haircut, there is no sense paying extra for someone else to wash my hair for me. Lately they just don't want to take no for an answer, even going so far as to say that they can't gaurantee a good haircut unless you get your hair washed by them. That is the most ridicuolous thing I've ever heard. I've had my hair cut by many different stylists at different locations over the years and never once have I heard someone say something so crazy. If other places can cut hair fine without washing it first, you should be able to as well. You are just trying to upsell what is already a way overpriced haircut compared to your competitors.
For these reasons, I likely won't be back to this particular store. And honestly all Sportclips are overpriced. At least the other Sportclip locations know how to run a business and keep a staff together though.
