I don't think you did a bad job. Here's my review. The stylist was great. The hours worked with my schedule (I needed a cut right before they closed). The location was friendly to me. But: I was not offered a shampoo or whatever. This is actually a good thing because the price of the cut alone was rather high. Not so high that I wouldn't go again, just so high that I wouldn't add on any services. I was a little annoyed that the minimum suggested tip was over 20%. I tipped $7 and I don't think my stylist realized how generous that was. By giving a review of a "6", I am conveying that you actually did quite well in terms of getting your brand to settle in my unconscious versus all of the brands out there. In addition, I know about your brand through your previous tie-in with Red Cross, which was a good move for you to have done.
