I had a concern from a previous visit, but it was handled in a very friendly manner, and I am totally satisfied. The stylist was very attentive and thorough.
I enjoy this store itβs close and convenient, the staff is friendly and we always see the same stylist Dakota. She is very nice and kind she has cut my sons hair not only today but his first and second haircut as well, we always look forward to seeing Dakota because she does a great job and makes a fun little freeze game with my son because he tends to move alot. As long as I live close and Dakota is at this location we will be back each time itβs time for my sonβs haircut.
Thank you Dakota youβre awesome :)

Royal Treatment & Razor-Sharp Results: A Ten-Star Review for Reba
ππππππππππ
π The Reba Welcome: Instant Comfort, Instant Confidence βοΈβ¨
From the moment I walked into Sports Clips, Reba made the entire visit feel less like a quick haircut and more like stepping into a place where people actually care. There are stylists who greet you because it is part of the job, and then there is Reba, who greets you like she is genuinely glad you came in. That difference matters. Her welcome was warm, friendly, professional, and full of the kind of easy confidence that immediately tells a customer, βYou are in good hands.β
Before the haircut even started, Reba set the tone with kindness and attention to detail. She did not rush me into the chair or make the appointment feel like just another name on a list. She took a moment to connect, ask questions, and make sure she understood exactly what I wanted. That might seem like a small thing, but it is the foundation of a great haircut. A stylist can have all the technical skill in the world, but if they do not listen first, the result is never quite right. Reba listened. She paid attention. She made me feel heard.
There was an ease about her that made the whole experience better. Some people have a gift for making a customer relax without trying too hard, and Reba definitely has that gift. Her chair did not feel like a station in a busy shop. It felt like a personal space where I could sit back, breathe, and trust the process. She had the perfect mix of friendly conversation and focused professionalism. She knew when to talk, when to ask, when to explain, and when to simply let the work speak for itself.
Right away, I noticed how much pride she takes in her work. She carried herself with confidence, but not in a showy way. It was the confidence of someone who has practiced, learned, improved, and truly cares about doing the job right. Every movement felt calm and intentional. Nothing seemed random. Nothing seemed rushed. She treated the haircut like it mattered, because to her, it clearly did.
That is one of the things that makes Reba stand out. She understands that a haircut is not just about trimming hair. It is about how a person feels when they leave. It is about confidence. It is about being clean, sharp, refreshed, and ready to take on the day. Reba seemed to understand that from the very beginning. She did not just offer a service. She created an experience.
βοΈ The Cut: Clean, Sharp, and Exactly Right ππ₯
Once Reba started the haircut, it became very clear that she knows what she is doing. Her clipper work was smooth, steady, and precise. Every pass had a purpose. She did not attack the haircut like she was trying to finish as quickly as possible. Instead, she built it carefully, piece by piece, like a skilled artist shaping the final result.
The blend was excellent. That is where you can really tell whether someone is simply cutting hair or truly crafting a haircut. Reba made the fade look natural, clean, and balanced. There were no harsh lines, no uneven spots, and no awkward transitions. Everything flowed together the way a good haircut should. It looked polished without looking overdone.
She paid close attention to the shape of my head, the way my hair naturally grows, and the style I was going for. That kind of awareness separates a good stylist from a great one. Reba was not just following a basic haircut pattern. She was customizing the cut to fit me. She checked the angles, adjusted the details, and made sure the final look matched what I wanted.
The edges were crisp. The neckline was clean. The sides were even. The top had the right amount of shape without losing the natural look. Every detail mattered to her, and it showed. I could tell she was checking her work as she went, not waiting until the end to see if everything turned out right. That constant attention gave me confidence throughout the appointment.
One thing I really appreciated was how Reba balanced speed with care. She worked efficiently, but never carelessly. There is a big difference between being fast and being rushed. Reba was efficient because she is skilled, not because she was trying to move me out of the chair. She respected my time while still respecting the haircut. That is not always easy to do, but she made it look effortless.
As the haircut came together, I could already see the difference in the mirror. It was one of those cuts where you can feel your confidence rising before the cape even comes off. The shape was better. The look was cleaner. The whole style felt fresh. By the time she finished, I did not just feel like I had gotten a haircut. I felt like I had gotten an upgrade.
Rebaβs technique showed patience, precision, and pride. She took the time to make sure the haircut looked good from every angle. That matters because a great haircut should not only look good from the front in the mirror. It should look good from the side, from the back, and the next morning after you wake up and style it yourself. Reba gave me that kind of haircut.
π¬ The Conversation: Friendly, Natural, and Genuine ππ
A great haircut is one thing. A great haircut with great conversation is something even better. Reba has a way of making conversation feel natural and comfortable. She was friendly without being overwhelming. She was professional without being stiff. She was easy to talk to, and that made the whole appointment more enjoyable.
Some stylists talk at you. Reba talks with you. That is a huge difference. She listened carefully, responded thoughtfully, and made the conversation feel real. There was no fake customer-service energy. It felt genuine. It felt human. She made the appointment feel personal in the best way.
Her personality brought warmth to the visit. She has the kind of positive energy that makes the time go by quickly. You sit down thinking you are there for a haircut, and before you know it, you are laughing, relaxing, and enjoying the experience. That kind of atmosphere does not happen by accident. It happens because someone like Reba knows how to make people comfortable.
She also knew how to keep the focus on the haircut while still carrying a conversation. That is another skill people do not always notice. It is not easy to talk with a customer while staying locked in on the technical details of a cut. Reba did both beautifully. She never lost focus. She never seemed distracted. She made the conversation part of the experience without letting it take away from the quality of the work.
The whole interaction felt respectful and kind. Reba has a calming presence, and that made the visit feel easy. I did not feel like I had to explain everything five times. I did not feel like I had to worry about whether the cut was going in the right direction. She communicated clearly, checked in at the right moments, and made sure I stayed comfortable throughout.
That is the kind of customer service that makes people come back. A haircut can be good, but when the person giving it also makes you feel valued, that haircut becomes memorable. Reba did exactly that. She made the appointment feel less like a transaction and more like a positive part of the day.
𧴠The MVP Treatment: Relaxing, Refreshing, and Worth It πββοΈβ¨
The MVP experience with Reba was outstanding. It took the haircut from great to unforgettable. The shampoo was refreshing, the towel was relaxing, and the whole process felt like the perfect reset. After a busy day, there is something incredible about sitting back and letting a skilled stylist take care of every detail. Reba made that part of the visit feel calm, clean, and completely worth it.
The shampoo was not rushed. She took her time and made sure the experience felt relaxing. The scalp massage was excellent. It had just the right amount of pressure and care. It felt like every bit of stress started melting away. For a few minutes, the outside world slowed down, and I could simply enjoy the moment.
That is one of the best things about Sports Clips when the stylist really knows how to deliver the full experience. The MVP is not just an add-on. With the right stylist, it becomes the highlight of the visit. Reba understood that. She treated it like an important part of the service, not just something to get through quickly.
The hot towel was another great touch. It felt comfortable, relaxing, and refreshing. It is amazing how something so simple can make such a big difference when it is done right. Reba made the whole process feel smooth and professional. There was no awkwardness, no rushing, and no sense that she was just going through the motions. She made sure every part of the MVP treatment added to the experience.
When the shampoo and towel were finished, I felt completely refreshed. My hair felt clean. My scalp felt better. My whole mood felt lighter. That is the power of a great service experience. You come in needing a haircut, but you leave feeling like you took a break from the stress of the day.
Reba made the MVP treatment feel personal and polished. She clearly understands that customers remember how they feel during the visit. The haircut matters, of course, but the feeling of being cared for matters just as much. Reba delivered both.
π The Details: Where Reba Really Shines ππ
What impressed me most about Reba was her attention to detail. Great stylists do not ignore the small things. They know the small things are what create the final look. Reba paid attention to everything: the blend, the neckline, the sideburns, the edges, the shape, the comfort of the cape, and the way the haircut looked as a whole.
She did not settle for βgood enough.β That was obvious. She looked at the haircut from multiple angles and made small adjustments until it was right. Those final touches are what turn an ordinary haircut into a great one. Reba showed that she cares about the finished product and takes pride in sending customers out looking their best.
Her communication was also excellent. She checked in without making the appointment feel interrupted. She made sure I was happy with the length and style. She explained what she was doing in a simple, helpful way. That gave me confidence because I never felt like I was just hoping the haircut would turn out okay. I knew she had a plan.
The neckline was especially clean. A sharp neckline can make the entire haircut look more finished, and Reba handled it perfectly. The edges looked crisp, the transition looked smooth, and the final result looked professional. Even after the cape came off, she still made sure everything looked right. That extra care matters.
Reba also had a strong sense of balance. The haircut did not look too heavy in one area or too short in another. Everything fit together. The style looked natural and clean. It was the kind of cut that makes you feel better the second you see it.
There is a real artistry in making a haircut look simple and effortless. The customer may only see the final result, but behind that result are dozens of small choices. Reba made those choices well. She understood the shape, the texture, the lines, and the finish. She brought it all together with skill.
π The Customer Service: Professional, Kind, and Memorable π
Rebaβs customer service deserves serious praise. She made me feel welcome, respected, and appreciated from start to finish. That is not something every business gets right, but Reba absolutely does. She represents Sports Clips in the best possible way.
She was professional in every sense. She was on task, prepared, friendly, and focused. She did not make the visit feel rushed or careless. She made it feel intentional. Every step of the appointment felt like it had been handled by someone who takes pride in her work and understands the importance of treating customers well.
Kindness is a big part of customer service, and Reba has it naturally. Her kindness did not feel forced. It felt like part of who she is. She smiled, listened, responded, and made the experience enjoyable. That kind of kindness stays with you after the appointment ends.
The best customer service is not loud or dramatic. It is consistent. It is thoughtful. It is found in the little moments: asking the right question, checking the mirror, making sure the customer is comfortable, remembering to slow down when needed, and finishing strong. Reba did all of that.
She created trust. That is one of the biggest compliments I can give a stylist. Once a customer trusts the person cutting their hair, the entire visit changes. You can relax. You can enjoy the process. You can stop worrying and start looking forward to the result. Reba earned that trust quickly and kept it throughout the appointment.
By the end of the visit, I felt like I had received more than a service. I felt like I had been treated with care. That is what makes Reba special. She does not just cut hair. She creates a positive experience that customers want to repeat.
π The Final Result: Looking Sharp and Feeling Better βοΈπ
When Reba finished the haircut, the result was excellent. I looked sharper, cleaner, and more put together. The cut had a fresh, confident look without being too much. It was exactly the kind of haircut that makes you check the mirror more than once.
The blend was smooth. The shape was right. The edges were clean. The style was easy to wear and easy to maintain. Everything about the final look showed skill and care. I left the chair feeling like Reba had understood what I wanted and delivered it even better than expected.
That is the mark of a great stylist. The customer should not leave thinking, βWell, it is fine.β The customer should leave thinking, βYes, that is exactly what I needed.β That is how I felt after Rebaβs service.
The haircut gave me confidence. It made me feel refreshed. It made me feel ready for the rest of the day. That might sound simple, but a great haircut really can change your mood. Reba gave me that kind of result.
I also appreciated that the haircut looked finished but not overworked. Sometimes a cut can look too styled or too forced. Rebaβs work looked clean, natural, and professional. It was the kind of haircut that fits into real life. It looked good right away, and it felt like it would keep looking good.
By the time I left, I knew I would be happy to sit in Rebaβs chair again. That says everything. A great review is not just about what happened during one visit. It is about whether the customer wants to come back. After my experience with Reba, the answer is absolutely yes.
π Why Reba Deserves Ten Stars ππππππππππ
Reba deserves every bit of praise because she brings together all the qualities that make a stylist excellent. She has the technical skill to give a great haircut. She has the professionalism to keep the appointment smooth. She has the kindness to make the customer feel comfortable. She has the attention to detail to make the final result stand out. And she has the personality to make the whole visit memorable.
That combination is rare. Plenty of people can cut hair. Fewer people can create a full experience. Reba can do both. She understands that a customer is not just sitting down for clippers and scissors. A customer is trusting someone with their appearance, their confidence, and their time. Reba honors that trust.
She made the visit feel easy from beginning to end. The welcome was warm. The haircut was sharp. The MVP treatment was relaxing. The conversation was genuine. The final result was excellent. Every part of the appointment worked together.
That is why this review is not just a simple thank-you. It is a full celebration of a job extremely well done. Reba took an ordinary errand and turned it into one of those visits you remember for all the right reasons. She made me feel valued as a customer and confident as a person.
If you are looking for a stylist who listens, cares, and delivers a fantastic haircut, Reba is the one. If you want someone who pays attention to the details and still makes the appointment fun, Reba is the one. If you want the kind of Sports Clips visit that makes you walk out feeling refreshed, sharp, and already thinking about your next appointment, Reba is absolutely the one.
Thank you, Reba, for the outstanding service, the excellent haircut, the relaxing MVP experience, and the genuine kindness. You turned a haircut into a highlight of the day. Ten stars does not feel like enough.
I enjoy my experience every time I come it. Amy is one of my favorite hairstylists and always give me a great haircut! Iβll continue to come back to the Surprise, AZ location on Litchfield and Waddel because the staff is so great, even if I need to drive further to get there. Thanks for a great experience every time!
