Marissa told me to write that she is a fantastic stylist who enjoys endless conversations about anything with her clients and is a warm hearted individual who loves sunsets, long walks on the beach and sipping on a cool glass of water on hot summer days. Excellent cut, shampoo and style as always! π
I like the staff, they're always friendly and chatty and kind of uplifting. They're not like other barbershops or styling places where the staff look like they're doing factory work drudgery.
ππππππππππ Jordan Review β 2/28/2010 ππππππππππ
A Legendary Sports Clips Visit Filled with Skill, Warmth, and Great Conversation βοΈπ¬π
There are some haircut visits you forget by the time you get to your car, and then there are appointments so enjoyable, so well done, and so full of personality that they stay with you for years. My visit with Jordan on 2/28/2010 was absolutely one of those unforgettable experiences. From the moment I walked through the door, the whole place felt upbeat, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Before I even settled in, Reba made sure to give me a hearty hello, and that warm greeting immediately put me in a great mood. It is amazing how much a strong welcome can shape an entire visit, and Rebaβs kindness set the tone perfectly. Then came Jordan, and from the first few minutes it was obvious I was in the hands of someone who truly knew what she was doing. She had that rare combination of confidence, friendliness, precision, and genuine care that instantly makes a customer feel comfortable. Some stylists can cut hair well, and some can carry a conversation well, but Jordan did both with ease and charm. She made the whole appointment feel smooth, relaxed, and personal from start to finish. There was never a moment where I felt rushed, overlooked, or treated like just another name on the schedule. Instead, I felt welcomed, listened to, and appreciated. That kind of service cannot be faked, and it certainly cannot be taught overnight. It comes from real people skills, strong work ethic, and pride in doing a job the right way. Jordan brought all of that to the chair and then some. By the end of the visit, I was not just pleased with my haircut, I was honestly impressed by the complete experience.
π¬ The Welcome: A First Impression That Set the Gold Standard
The very beginning of an appointment matters more than many businesses realize, and Jordanβs visit started on a perfect note. Rebaβs hearty hello was the first spark of positivity, and it made the entire place feel lively and inviting. That kind of welcome tells a customer right away that the staff cares about creating a good experience. It was not stiff, cold, or routine. It felt real. Then Jordan picked up that same positive energy and carried it forward in a way that made the visit even better. She greeted me with warmth, ease, and a natural friendliness that made conversation come effortlessly. She did not act distracted or mechanical. She was present, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. That sounds simple, but it makes a huge difference. When you sit down for a haircut, you want to feel like the person helping you is glad you are there. Jordan gave exactly that impression. She created a calm, upbeat atmosphere without trying too hard. There was no awkwardness, no forced small talk, and no sense of hurry. Instead, she made the whole beginning of the appointment feel easy and enjoyable. Her professionalism showed in the way she carried herself, but so did her kindness. That balance is something special. She had the kind of presence that makes a customer feel at home right away, and that alone deserves serious praise.
βοΈ Jordanβs Skill: Precision, Confidence, and Real Talent
Now letβs talk about the most important part: Jordanβs actual haircutting skill, because this is where she truly shined. From the first moment she began working, it was obvious she had excellent control, sharp attention to detail, and real confidence in her craft. Some people move through a haircut like they are just trying to finish it. Jordan moved with purpose. Every step had intention behind it. Every trim, adjustment, and blend showed care. You could tell she understood not just how to cut hair, but how to shape a look so it comes together cleanly and naturally. There was nothing sloppy, uneven, or uncertain about her work. She handled the haircut with the kind of steady skill that gives a customer confidence almost immediately. It is always reassuring when you can tell your stylist knows exactly what she is doing, and that was the feeling Jordan created. Her technique was smooth, polished, and professional. She paid close attention to how everything was looking as she worked, which showed a real commitment to quality. She wasnβt guessing. She was crafting. The result was a haircut that looked sharp, neat, and flattering without ever feeling overdone. She gave me the sense that she wanted the haircut to be right, not just acceptable. That matters. Plenty of people can do a passable job, but Jordan clearly cared about doing an excellent one. Her skills were not just good. They were impressive, and they deserve ten bright stars.
π¬ The Conversation: Fun, Natural, and a Big Part of the Experience
One of the absolute highlights of the appointment was the conversation. We had lots of fun conversation, and Jordan made that feel effortless. Some haircut conversations are polite but forgettable. This one was lively, easygoing, and genuinely enjoyable. Jordan had that rare ability to talk in a way that felt natural, not rehearsed. She knew how to keep the conversation going without taking away from her focus on the haircut. That is a real talent in itself. She was friendly without being overbearing, funny without being forced, and thoughtful without making anything feel too serious. The whole time, it felt like I was talking with someone who actually enjoyed connecting with people. That kind of interaction turns a routine haircut into something much more memorable. It made the time go by quickly in the best possible way. There was a relaxed rhythm to the whole appointment, and Jordanβs conversational skills played a huge role in that. She made the experience feel personal. She made it feel cheerful. She made it feel comfortable. A great haircut gives you confidence, but great conversation gives the whole visit heart. Jordan brought both. That combination made the appointment stand out in a way that many service experiences simply do not.
π Professionalism: She Made Excellence Look Easy
What impressed me so much about Jordan was how naturally she combined personality with professionalism. She was warm and approachable, but she also carried herself like someone who takes her work seriously. That matters. It is one thing to be nice. It is another thing to be dependable, focused, and clearly committed to doing high-quality work. Jordan had all of that. She listened carefully, paid attention to the details, and stayed engaged throughout the visit. She did not appear distracted. She did not seem rushed. She did not cut corners. Instead, she treated the whole appointment like it mattered. Customers notice that. We can tell when someone is just going through the motions, and we can also tell when someone takes pride in their job. Jordan clearly takes pride in what she does. Her professionalism showed in the way she communicated, the way she worked, and the way she kept the experience running smoothly from beginning to end. She gave the impression of someone who respects her customers and values their time. That creates trust. When a stylist is professional in that way, a customer can relax and enjoy the experience because they know they are in good hands. Jordan created exactly that feeling. She made excellence look easy, and that is often the surest sign of real skill and strong character.
π Customer Care: Jordan Made Me Feel Valued
A lot of businesses talk about customer service, but Jordan actually delivered it. She made me feel like my visit mattered. She made me feel like she cared about doing a great job. That sense of care came through in everything she did. It was in the way she welcomed me, the way she listened, the way she stayed engaged, and the way she handled the haircut with patience and focus. Good customer service is often built from a hundred little things done well, and Jordan seemed to understand that instinctively. She was attentive without hovering. She was friendly without being fake. She was relaxed without ever becoming careless. That balance is what makes service feel genuine. I never felt like I was being processed through a chair. I felt like I was being helped by someone who wanted me to leave happy. That matters more than many people realize. It changes the entire mood of the appointment. It creates loyalty. It makes someone want to come back. Jordanβs care for the customer was obvious, and it elevated the whole visit from good to exceptional. Add Rebaβs wonderful hearty hello at the beginning, and the entire staff experience felt warm and thoughtful. Together, they created an atmosphere that was positive and memorable. Jordan deserves a great deal of credit for making that happen so naturally.
π― Attention to Detail: The Little Things Were Done Right
One of the strongest signs of Jordanβs ability was her attention to detail. This is often what separates a merely decent haircut from a truly excellent one. Jordan clearly paid attention to the small things that make a big difference in the final result. She was not careless. She was not rough. She was not rushed. She worked with care and awareness throughout the appointment. That showed both skill and discipline. When someone is detail-oriented, you can feel it in the whole experience. There is a sense of steadiness. There is a sense of control. There is a sense that the person knows the difference between average work and refined work. Jordan had that sense. She approached the haircut with precision and pride, and the outcome reflected both. The finished look felt clean, balanced, and polished. It looked like the work of someone who did not settle for halfway. Jordan seemed to understand that every part of the haircut contributes to the whole impression. Because of that, the result felt complete. It did not feel thrown together. It felt finished properly. That kind of attention creates confidence not only in the mirror, but in the customerβs trust in the stylist. Jordan absolutely earned that trust.
π Personality and Presence: A Bright Spot in the Day
Jordanβs personality deserves its own special praise because she brought such positive energy to the entire visit. Some people have a presence that makes things easier, brighter, and more enjoyable simply by being themselves. Jordan had exactly that kind of presence. She made the whole appointment feel upbeat in a natural way. Her friendliness never felt fake. Her attitude never felt flat. She brought a spark to the room while still keeping the experience calm and comfortable. That is not easy to do. A stylistβs personality has a huge effect on how a customer feels, and Jordanβs personality made the visit better in every way. She was easy to talk to. She was pleasant to be around. She was clearly someone who understands how to make people feel comfortable. That kind of presence turns a simple haircut into a genuinely good part of the day. When a person has both talent and people skills, it creates something memorable. Jordan had both. She brought real warmth to the appointment, and that warmth lingered throughout the whole visit. It made the haircut feel like more than a service. It felt like a bright experience shared with a genuinely likable person. That is rare, and it deserves recognition.
π Why Jordan Deserves a Ten-Star Review
If I were rating Jordan on a simple five-star scale, it would honestly not feel like enough. She deserves more, which is why this is a ten-star review with full enthusiasm behind it. Jordan delivered excellent haircutting skill, professional service, natural conversation, and true customer care all in one visit. That is the full package. She did not just succeed in one category. She excelled in all of them. Rebaβs hearty hello created a warm beginning, and Jordan built on that with grace, talent, and positivity from the first minute to the last. The appointment was enjoyable. The conversation was fun. The haircut was strong. The service was polished. The overall experience was the kind that makes someone say, βThat was really, really good.β Jordan deserves praise not only for what she did, but for how she did it. She made skill look easy. She made conversation feel natural. She made professionalism feel warm rather than cold. She made the customer feel comfortable and valued. Those are not small things. Those are the exact qualities that create loyal customers and glowing reviews. Jordan earned this praise completely, and she earned it the right way: through talent, kindness, and consistent excellence.
π Final Thoughts: A Visit Worth Remembering
Looking back on my visit with Jordan on 2/28/2010, I can honestly say it was a standout experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere was welcoming. Rebaβs hearty hello made a strong and cheerful first impression. Jordan took that positive energy and turned it into a haircut appointment that felt smooth, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable. Her technical skills were excellent. Her attention to detail was obvious. Her professionalism was strong. Her conversation made the whole visit fun and memorable. She had the kind of confidence that puts a customer at ease, and the kind of friendliness that makes the time in the chair pass quickly. Most importantly, she made me feel like I mattered as a customer. That is the heart of great service. It is not only about the result, although the result was excellent. It is also about how the experience feels while it is happening. Jordan got both parts right. She gave me a haircut to be happy with and an experience to remember. That is why this review comes with ten stars instead of five. She earned every one of them. Jordan is talented, skilled, personable, and professional, and this visit proved it in the best possible way. ππππππππππ
Jordan, thank you for the excellent haircut, the great conversation, and the all-around wonderful experience. Reba, thank you for that hearty hello that helped start everything off right. This visit was a true ten-star experience, and Jordanβs skill and personality made it shine.
As per usually, my 2 boys and I got our haircuts by Marissa. That will never change. She is amazing. My only complaint/confusion is the new line up system. If someone cancels , that spot immediately becomes available to the 1st available, which could pull marissa from her next waiting client. I think the stylists should be able to have control over the waiting list. I understand you're trying to turnover clients as fast as possible, but it can be done without mandatory automation.
