All of the staff at Star Child Apopka from the admin, director, cafeteria, teachers… We have had nothing but awesome leaders!!! We have always felt at home when we walk through the doors! Same answer as always since being bought by a corporation. When we started at star child it was owned privately and it was amazing. Now that Endeavor owns the school I don’t feel that the corporation cares about families. There are fees on top of fees, no vacation week, I can’t do an emergency swap for my 3 day a week kid. My kids miss school for being sick and I’m not able to bring them on a day they aren’t scheduled. We were planning on sending our boys to Star Child for elementary but not anymore.

We have had a wonderful experience at StarChild Academy. The environment is safe, loving, and very well organized. The teachers truly care about the children and communicate consistently with parents, which gives me peace of mind every day. My children feel happy, supported, and academically challenged. I especially appreciate the balance between strong academics and character development. It’s clear that the staff genuinely invests in each child’s growth.

The patience and care from the teachers. Our kids spend more time at school than home, and nothing puts my mind more at ease than knowing my son’s teachers treat him with the love and care he needs, even when he’s having difficult days.

We have had great experiences with Starchild, specifically the staff. They love the kids and treat us like family. We have had some behavioral concerns with our elementary kid and they have partnered with us and kept in constant communication to help the situation.

I love the school, the curriculum and the staff so much. They have always made us feel at home. I however am not a fan of Endeavor as a company… we have been sending our son to Star Child Apopka since before it was owned by Endeavor and it was much more family friendly. The fees and lack of vacation time, extra charges for everything make me feel so sad that corporations take over family schools and take away the warmth. Thankfully Mrs Deborah and the rest of the Star Child staff are warm and love our children.

Both of our children have attended StarChild (Wekiva Springs) for years, and the best part is definitely the staff. They are always hardworking, friendly, and treat all the kids so well. So many of the staff know our children by name, and regularly greet us or say goodbye as we come and go, or share little stories or anecdotes about our children that we otherwise might not hear about. It's no secret that childcare is a demanding job, but it seems like StarChild has a good system in place to find and maintain a talented and caring staff. I hope they keep doing what they are doing, and keep finding success, so other children can continue to benefit the way ours have.
