We love everything about Step by Step! The staff is all so lovely, welcoming, and caring. We LOVE the Montessori teaching method and give credit to the school for our kids being above and beyond their peers. Additionally, we love the extra activities and celebrations such as music class with miss Janet, dance with miss Missy, the holiday concert, and trunk or treat!

The staff and environment is amazing at the Corcoran Step By Step. Kim and Jennine are so hospitable and welcoming from when you first enter the building to when you leave after being a veteran family. They are incredibly helpful with schedules and registration and any other question that may come up. It's so refreshing to walk into an administrator's office and always feel welcomed and validated. The atmosphere in the building feels safe, warm and loving which is exactly what a parent wants to feel when they choose a childcare provider. Our family has experience with one other daycare which didn't give us any troubling issues, but it was like a breath of fresh air to send our daughter to Step By Step because it was like we didn't know what the daycare experience could really be like until we came here. The teachers are also amazing because there is a genuine focus on well-being and learning for the kids. They have been so amazing with any rising concerns and they keep open communication for any issue or question that may pop up. The classroom environment stimulates brain growth in personal/social and academic skills. The focus isn't just on numbers, letters and rules, it's all ecompassing in everyday life skills to higher-level thinking for each age group. If a parent is looking for concrete evidence to support these statements, they only need to look to the fact that teacher turnover is at an absolute minimum as many of the staff have been there for years. Also, the daycare is always full with waitlists for more kids to join and most people who send their kids here, did so initially because of a recommendation from another parent who has experienced Step By Step Corcoran. Everyone I meet that sends their child to this daycare is always more than satisfied with their experience, they love it...and so do we! Thank you for everything you do for us!!!
