We have been here for 4 years and have two kids there and have loved all the teachers and staff. They communicate great, the lessons/play are perfect for the children. It is a great environment to learn and grow. Ms. Bre and Ms. Gina in NIDO-1 are the best! I get tons of updates and pictures and communication on activities. You can really see the effort they put in to care for the kids and go above and beyond expectations. I know my kids are safe and cared for!

How intentional the teachers are with activities and interactions with our children. We love that our children’s curiosity and interests are developed and encouraged. Also that they won’t “outgrow” the activities/work in the classroom as all the materials can be used in a more challenging way. Most importantly, our children feel loved and feel emotionally safe at school.

I am thrilled that SBS goes THROUGH kindergarten (which isn't actually required in MN)! I find so many benefits to keeping the individualized Montessori method of instruction/exploration for as long as possible for each child. Integrated ages of students in the class is another foundation not found in other learning models but brings a wide array of learning in itself. Keeping the building, and class size small, as long as possible, is another plus for our family. It is of high value to my family to have the small setting/environment for safety and intimacy factors. Knowing the community that my little one is around is of high importance. Additionally, the promotion of learning outside, as often as possible, vs. a strict schedule with limited outdoor learning, is a huge plus. I want my precious 'sponge' to soak up as much of what is good as possible and SBS creates the ideal environment for that.

Both of my children (10 year age gap) attended step by step of maple grove and we could not be happier with the love and care that they both received. From the new born stages with Ms. Gabby, Ms. Nicole, Ms. Kennyce & Ms. Alee to the toddler classroom with Ms. Kareen, Ms. Elizabet and Ms. Lina, all the way up to children’s house with Ms. Yelena. The attentiveness, the love, the nurturing, the communication, the warm environments and the positive energy is simply UNMATCHED. My oldest is thriving in public school due to the encouragement, support and independence she received while at SBS and my youngest who is still in their care is the happiest & sweetest (I’m biased I’m sure) little guy ever because of the safe space that they create each day. To know that your child is SAFE and LOVED when you drop them off at school is something every parent wants and I’m so thankful that we are receiving just that from the most amazing teachers ever.

The calm and controlled classroom environments. Kids are having fun playing and learning together but the rooms are never loud, over stimulating or chaotic. We noticed a huge difference in our son’s mood and behavior the first week he started.

We really can’t say enough great things about SBS MG. The staff are so caring and dedicated. We know our daughter (and soon our son!) are in the perfect place and best hands each day. A huge shout out to Rachel and Brittany as well because they work so hard to make sure everything runs smoothly! Whether it’s bouncing from the classrooms to organizing community events, they set a high bar for our community’s culture. There are other childcare options closer to our house, but I would wholeheartedly and happily choose SBS MG every time.

All of the teachers are so amazing. Ms. Keiara is so wonderful with our toddler. She loves going to school each day and is learning so much. Ms. Sue is a fantastic teacher, both in Todd 1 and as a piano teacher. Our toddler went through a nervous phase during drop offs in the morning and Ms. Sue helped her feel more confident. Now she marches right into the classroom in the am and is excited to see her teacher and her friends. Ms. Christie challenges our child and encourages them to learn. We are continually impressed by all the things they are learning. From the water cycle to the importance of being a role model to the one hundred board. We are so happy at the school and with Ms. Christie as lead teacher on CH3.
