We are so grateful for the care, love, and attention our son has received in the NIDO-1 room. The teachers are incredible and the environment feels calm and intentional. It’s clear how much he’s grown in their care becoming more curious, independent, and joyful everyday. We have been so thankful for the guidance and communication we have received from his teachers along the way.
The staff in Nido 2 are absolutely unmatched. Ms. Gabby, Ms. Nicole, and Ms. Kennyce are all top-notch teachers. We feel so reassured knowing our daughter is in their great hands. She looks forward to going to school every day, and she always has a huge smile when she sees any of the teachers in Nido 2. We know she is learning so much at school, and we could not be any happier with or decision to send her to Step by Step.
My son has only been attending this school for a week but I have been talking to/ interacting with Brittany (school administrator i believe) since July and in that short amount of time three words come to mind to describe Step by Step Montessori; Experience, Strength and Hope.
The teachers for my son's age have all been there for twenty seven or more years. That's experience through decades of ups and Downs in life
So I'm sure they've seen it all.
And I feel like they incorporate it into their daily interactions with my son and his fellow classmates.
They communicate and work together with parents. From my experience to help their child be successful in transitioning from a very minimal amount of structure into a very structured environment. And do it with patience and understanding for where my child's at and what he needs for it to be a successful transition. They show up as the village needed for all of us in raising our children. There is Strength in numbers and it's so helpful to know I'm not alone in this.
And lastly, Hope, i have a sense of hope for my son's future in our ever-changing world full of uncertainty. They're teaching model is exactly what I was hoping for in regards to my kiddos education. I just wish it went further along in the education system. And didn't stop when they turned six.
The ladies at Step by Step Maple Grove, especially Amber, Gabby, and Rachel, are fantastic! They made us feel confident leaving our 8 week old with them and the transition was as smooth as we could have hoped for! Although it is quite expensive, I truly believe they provide exceptional care.
I love knowing that my kids are being loved and supported by the staff. It is so hard to trust your kids into someone else's care, but I know that SBS is my kids home away from home. A big part of that is the length of service the leads and many of the assistant teachers have at Maple Grove SBS, you just don't find that in early childhood education. This is truly their career and one they clearly love and not just a job.
We love the environment. We know that our son is learning so much. The School Leaders are very communitive. The Toddler 2 classroom, is the best. Our son has been communicating so much and the way that he expresses himself is a wonderful thing.
I like that is is small enough where you can really form connections with each of the kids’ teachers throughout their time at the school. You can tell they care about our kids.
We are grateful for our experiences at SBS Maple Grove! The teachers and school leaders are all kind, caring, and invested in the growth and development of each child. We would highly recommend SBS Maple Grove.
