So, apart from our usual response of reiterating that Marc (driver) and Vico (dispatcher?), along with Sandra (office receivables?) continue to do what is required to keep us as TWO customers and all the comarodary along the way, we are quite concerned that we must inform that derogatory and untrue information is being provided to a current mutual customer. The short version is simply this. The customer was advised (eventually) that his RO system & parts were ready for pick up so he ventured in to Winnipeg to pick them up as there was no communication that the said order could be shipped for a very minimal fee. (3 hour return trip) Before he was advised of that, he showed up with a good sized SUV only to be told the order would not fit in it. Subsequently, he suggested you could deliver the equipment to his local store in TOLSTOI, when he was then informed that you had NO CUSTOMER IN TOLSTOI OR IN DOMINION CITY, for that matter. As frustration and your persons' non belief that you have us as a customer, where the customer in question had been picking up multiple distilled 5 gals for months already, they would not budge or check to see that his information was indeed correct. This is a customer that used to drive to Steinbach weekly to get his distilled H2O that we had convinced that ours was equal or better and available right here only 6 miles away. Next he suggested he come back with a truck and that is when the reasonable delivery fee was offered. As we know it, more days (a week) passed to arrange said delivery and the system arrived in Stuartburn. Weeks after that you finally had arranged a day that suited the customer and the installation team only to learn when attempting to put things together something was broken and not useable. Imagine if the customer had picked the system up?, would he have been blamed for the broken equipment given he could not convince your person that CALDERWOODS IN TOLSTOI, has been with you for 30 years and [FIRST NAME REMOVED] IN DOMINION CITY for 20. So now his experience gets better as he again waits for the replacement for the broken part shows up that was supposed to be in your warehouse but is not. We might add, as a result, he continues to get H2O from us as in order for much of the world to eat pork, the pigs have to be made first, etc., etc., his operation does not simply shut down. They service multiple barns on a daily basis impregnating pigs so the population can eat pork. One must wonder if we had told him we could not get distilled H2O would you even have the order for the RO system that seems to be plagued with deficences. Imagine if we really were not here to suggest and stere him Culligan's way. We suggest you inform your people that before you tell customers that something or some business doesn't exist, that they check your operating system, customer data base or ask a seasoned employee before they lose customers that have been with you forever. There was a time when we would have done just that. We can tell you, Corpells & others are not here for various reasons. Thanks for taking the time. We hope you sort things out.
