I have starting back into using the Y after an extended break. The staff are as friendly and helpful as I remember. The classes vary and I was able to choose a level that suited my current needs. The Thrive program is still going strong and with the initial appointment, I was able to familiarize myself with all the equipment again. Additionally, the Y-at-home is a gamechanger. I can work out whenever I want, choosing a range of sessions, some requiring no equipment. It allows me to exercise around my work shifts and other responsibilities.
Lane/Leisure swimming with flexible drop in times. This helps manage my arthritis. Appreciate the swim passes, I get 20 at a time. The negatives are swimmers trying to do laps in the Leisure Lane which interferes with my stretching exercises. Was also wondering why the weight scales in the change rooms were not returned after Covid 19 ?
I only use the pool, but I like how they have flexible hours to accommodate what I’m looking for. I take aqua fit in the mornings and I absolutely love that class. The instructors are great and the participants in the pool are very friendly.
