Love the Newnan YMCA - have a lot of different activities. I use the indoor track for walking 2 miles - good way to beat the heat! Keep up the positive work - it is great seeing young people using the facilities. Sam Sweat
The Parkinson's exercise program has been very helpful for my husband. The leaders are so attuned to the capabilities of the participants. Look forward to it weekly!
I joined to use the pool. I have arthritis and spinal problems, and it's about the only exercise I can do. I appreciate: 1. The posting of the open lane times on the web site. 2. The jets in the therapy pool and warm temperature after I swim. 3. The locker rooms and showers are always clean. (As well as the entire facility!) 4. The handicapped stall in the ladies locker room. 5. The friendliness of all the staff.
I like the fact that there’s something for every family member to cater to. No complaining about what they do or don’t want to do. They all find their niche and go for it!
While I really enjoy coming to the Y, I wish there were more opportunities for water aerobics, especially for seniors. Tuesday/Thursday classes were removed and there are hardly ever openings for the M/W/F classes.
Wellness area is well equipped. Nice variety of activities.
A question a lot of us Summit early morning work out people is why is Tommy no longer there. He was an excellent trainer and related well to everyone.
