I like how Sunnyside bicycles takes care of their customers. I recently had an issue with my bike that I purchased and John, the owner, resolved this problem free of charge. More importantly, I they scheduled me for service which allowed me to get back on my bike quickly. This is a practice other bike shops in town have yet to implement during the covid era.
In addition to this, John, his wife, and employees are great people and are very welcoming regardless of budget or bike knowledge.
If Sunnyside Bicycles has the bike product I need, they will always be my first stop in town.
The service is personal. The prices are steep but I knew that going in. I could’ve bought a whole new bike instead of fixing mine but I would still have to deal with the same problems and upgrade the same parts. So I knew Sunnyside was a better idea then just re buying my same bike model.
One thing I didn’t like was that 4 different employees asked me what was wrong with my bike without letting the next person In the service chain know what was wrong with it. That was kinda annoying.

I also appreciate the honesty about the timeline for appointment, assessment and repair. Even though it took a few weeks, it was realistic and you all delivered when you said you would!
