I can't say enough about Sylvan to express how grateful I am that my grandson Rialey attends Sylvan in Broomfield. Rialey absolutely loves it and his reading is improving noticeably. Meridith, the director is helping Rialey with his book report project. Sylvan helps with homework as well as the units to catch up a child in school. Sylvan brought my child up to grade level in math after approximately 70 hours (a little over summer break).He was 2 grade levels behind and going into middle school. Sylvan is worth money. My child told me that he likes it because of the distraction free environment and an instructor that has the time to help. If only public school was this efficient.

Sylvan really helped my daughter during her 8th grade year. While she tries hard and does her work, she just wasn't quite getting the material at school. This was mostly math. Her grades were okay because she could redo tests, but it was clear that she didn't quite understand the material before the class moved on to the next unit. We'd worked with her at home consistently, so I was a little skeptical that Sylvan would make a difference. Still, we decided to give Sylvan a try because we figured it couldn't hurt, and our help was just not getting her there. I don't know exactly what Sylvan did, but Sylvan explained things in a way that meant she really understood the material. She's no longer having to redo tests as she actually understands the material. It's improved her confidence and given her a great start to high school!

I actually think my daughter learned a lot there and she has a great experience socializing with older kids that share same interest at the camps. She attended reading and science camps and she loved it.
