We have been so impressed with Sylvan. My son in 1st grade does not enjoy reading and working on skills at home but he loves coming to Sylvan. He actually asks when he can go to tutoring. They have fun incentives with the token system which make coming to sessions fun and rewarding. Have been really pleased with the program. Would highly recommend.

We've used Sylvan Encinitas multiple times over the years with multiple kids. This time around, it is for homework support in advanced placement math. Bonnie has been fantastic in supporting my student with math anxiety. She has helped my student maintain an A in both AP pre calc and now AP calc. Bonnie's support was also instrumental in helping my student prepare and do well on the AP final.
Sylvan offers us a consistently great experience at an affordable rate.

The help that my daughter has gotten is remarkable. She came to Sylvan during the pandemic with learning dissabilities and extremly behind in reading. She is now fully caught up and even ahead. She no longer has anxiety regarding reading and best of all she now enjoys reading. Everyone was so nice and positive everytime my daughter came in. They helped her every step of the way. It's the best decision I have made for her education.

My child enjoys coming to Sylvan for additional homework support with the subject of math. He originally felt there was a negative stigma with tutoring or getting help but Sylvan made the experience so positive. He works in groups with other peers of various ages and he sees that getting help is a positive thing and that a lot of students need additional support. My son also enjoys the point rewards students can earn each time they come in with the hopes of getting enough for a fun prize. Sylvan instructors are kind, knowledgeable and communicate how my child is doing. I am pleased that we have begun coming to Sylvan.

Kimm is excellent. My son adores Berta and the other tutors. He looks forward to going to Sylvan and even asked if he can continue during the school year. He loves the token system. I love how little kid friendly Sylvan is. You can tell that Kimm, Berta and the other tutors are educated in early childhood development. My son is in the program to prevent a summer slide and he is doing great.
