Our daughter has been tutoring at Sylvan for almost a year. We have seen dramatic growth & improvement in reading. Testing showed she grew 81% in about 5 months! Sylvan has taught her reading skills that made a difference. They also helped her gain confidence after losing belief in herself in 2nd grade due to a bad teacher. Walking into Sylvan a year ago, she had adopted the belief that she couldn’t learn & wasn’t smart. But now she believes she can learn & is proud of her ability to read & do good in school (because she reads better, she also loves the other subjects like science). She is now starting math tutoring & hoping she gets the foundation she needs to excel in math too!

My daughter has felt so comfortable with all of her tutors, which is saying a ton for my socially anxious kid, and the staff has been incredibly helpful and reaponsive whenever I reach out with questions. The SAT program seems well developed and I am eager to see how this factors in to her upcoming test. Thanks for all you’ve done to help my daughter become more confident in her testing skills.

Sylvan is amazing. This center is fantastic. My child has learned so much in the short time he has been with them, and I see such a difference in his attitude and confidence toward reading. He looks forward to going! In addition to the fantastic things he has learned, the support they provide to the parents is on another level. Shout out to Margie at this center. She has helped me navigate the issues that are happening at school and helped me better understand the underlining problem so that I can help my child better at home. It truly takes a village! But Margie's knowledge and gentle approach with love and understanding are impressive. Honestly, I can't say how incredible this staff and center have been to my family. There is a reason why Sylvan has been around for years, but this specific center and the teachers and the directors are so unique!
