I brought my great-granddaughter to Sylvan because of the great experience I had with my son when we lived in Los Angeles, California in the 1980's. My son was found to be dyslexic and was failing all of his classes. After enrolling in Sylvan and staying with the program for more than two years, he was able to graduate from high school and attend North Carolina A&T University. Not only did he graduate from A&T with honors, he also completed and received a Master's Degree. The results from working with Sylvan has made a firm believer in me and I know that it will make a difference in my little one's life.

Without the staff at Sylvan Holland i do not know what i would do, their patience and dedication to ensuring my son is ready for school and ahead of his class is remarkable. They do an amazing job not only with tutoring but also with communicating, and progress updates.

My grandson was struggling with math in 7th and 8th grade. He's attending a engineering magnet school where math is SO important! I knew Sylvan was more than capable to assist him in his understanding of the current concepts of modern math!! Grandpa is old school! I could not help him! Going to 2 hrs a week in the summer brought him to a 113% , A grade in his freshmen yr!! WOW GREAT TEACHING!! Forever thankful! If any other subject should need attention, I know where to GO! Thanks again!!

My daughter is always looking forward to her tutoring sessions at Sylvan. This is our first time using a tutoring service, and we have been pleased with the results. The facility is very clean, bright, and organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. I am glad we decided to try Sylvan to help my daughter avoid the "summer slide" and continue learning the math skills she needs to be ready for third grade this fall.

So far so good . My daughter had no issues getting comfortable and going into her sessions. With different environments and Different people she usually has to warm up to. I've told she's made progress and I'm hoping for the best

My choice to choose Sylvan is based on past experience with my youngest son many years ago. They were fantastic then and they are continuing in the same process now.

As my youngest son attended Sylvan Learning in Los Angeles, California many years ago because he was dyslexic and was able to attend college plus get a masters degree, I know first hand that Sylvan is great resource for dealing with any learning issues children have.
