My daughter had three tutorial sessions with Sylvan Learning Center and was able to improve her ACT score by three points. I will definitely schedule more sessions prior to her next ACT.

We enrolled our son at Sylvan Learning Center during a time when he truly needed extra support. After changing schools, his new school’s reading assessment showed he was already a couple of months behind. As the months went on, he fell even further behind—not because he didn’t understand the material, but because in second grade he was suddenly expected to read independently and fully comprehend what he read. By the end of the first semester, he earned a B in ELA, but when the second semester started with grades of 58 and 65, I knew he was really struggling and needed help. That’s when we turned to Sylvan. Within just a few weeks, we noticed a significant difference. His reading fluency, writing, and ELA assessment scores improved dramatically—jumping into the mid-80s, 90s, and even high 90s (85, 95, 96, 92). He finished the semester with a B, and I truly believe that if he continues at Sylvan, he will earn As in the next two semesters. Even more important than the grades, his confidence has returned. He loves school again. He actually looks forward to going to Sylvan and learning, and now he even tries to teach his 4-year-old sister how to read. Seeing that excitement and self-belief come back has meant everything to us. We are so grateful to Ms. Kristen and all the teachers of Sylvan Learning Center for not only helping our son academically, but for helping him rediscover his love for learning.

I have been pleased with the tutoring assistance that has been provided to my daughter within this short time span. She enjoys attending and is able to apply the tokens of knowledge that she has received thus far from the wonderful instructors with the center. We’ve been attending for almost 1 month and are very satisfied.

We are currently receiving enrichment services at Sylvan. We have been pleased with the growth and confidence our girl has shown. She is so excited to go to her tutoring classes. She absolutely loves her teachers there.

Great Staff. The learning tools given are excellent. If you have a student showing any signs of struggling, I would not hesitate doing an assessment. Best we have done for ours.

This is a review worth writing. If your child suffers & needs additional help & nothing seems to work. Please don't wait!! Reach out to Sylvan Learning Center. My son has had an IEP for 3-4 years now & once we changed schools, he had an IEP that they really didn't do anything with him to help him. He was able to barley pass on his own & for that reason they dismissed him from his IEP which was a Specific Learning Disability in Reading & Comprehension. He is currently in the 6th grade & all avenues that we have seeked out have not been successful. So, I finally decided to give Sylvan a call, at this point what do we have to lose. My son has had a D average this past year with ELA & has really struggled. Just in a short 6 weeks of being @ Sylvan he has brought home 2-B's & 1-A in ELA which is awesome. I finally feel that he is getting the proper professional help that he needs & deserves. So, for that thank you all so much. I can't wait to see what all he can & will accomplish due to your help & guidance.

I can see her improvement in conversations and vocabulary. She makes more attempts to read difficult words even though she say it wrong. Her confidence is a little better.
