I haven’t had such a fantastic customer experience anywhere, in years. When I reached out online for more information, their response was rapid, and the testing I’d requested was scheduled the very next day. I’ve got a student that has quite a bit of anxiety, yet the assessment experience was low key enough that she felt comfortable, and we got her results and developed a plan that same day. She connected well with several of her teachers there, and within 3 weeks she had remediated all her learning gaps, and re-tested an academic year ahead in math (two years in language arts). Her confidence is through the roof, her attitude toward learning is much more positive, and her anxiety about school is now completely manageable. It was absolutely an investment, but for the growth she achieved (both academically, and socially) in such an incredibly short period of time, I would do it all again. My son has been attending Sylvan since the end of November and I have seen his reading skills improve so much! As a teacher I knew that he wasn't getting the firm foundation he needed for reading and it was a struggle to work with him myself. I am so thankful for Sylvan because he is always happy after a session and he now calls himself a reader. The teachers at this center are wonderful and I have seen them interacting with Owen. They are always positive with him and they are able to get him to work without the frustration he was having when working with me. The center directors, Josh Saffron and Jeneisa Davis, are both very knowledgable and helpful. Whenever we have a meeting they go over his progress and ask us if we have any questions or concerns. I am truly grateful to to have this resource for my son and look forward to his continue growth.

The staff really know what they are doing! They do an excellent job of identifying gaps in knowledge and working on those. They aren't just blasting thru chapters and scratching lessons off a list. The manager is superb, extremely capable, and pleasant. A combo that you rarely see; nowadays. My nephew failed the 3rd grade. I am confident that Sylvan Harker Heights will get my nephew back with his class!

My 6 year old applies his Sylvan lessons to many real-world applications. He is much more confident in his reading. He enjoys his lessons there. They are very easy and flexible with scheduling, which is great because our schedule is chaotic.

My son was struggling in Reading and ELA, I was told about Sylvan by a very close friend. I gave it some thought and decided to go and check it out. Soon after I enrolled my son into Sylvan. Within three weeks of attending, his teacher's told me that they were seeing some improvement in his classwork. I will continue to have my son attend Sylvan because it has given him hope and promise in his education.

Our experience was wonderful! My two kids enjoyed the testing itself, and the atmosphere at the center. The employees were wonderful and made sure all of our questions were answered!
