Sylvan helped my kids lay a solid foundation in reading and math. The center director Katie is well trained, and equipped with all kinds of strategies up her sleeve to help kids learn and blossom. She could see through my kids struggle and helped them overcome it.

My 5 year old enjoys going there for reading and definitely see his confidence going up every single day and all the teachers are great and kind and amazing,very patient with the kids and the Kirkland center Director Katie is incredible professional and easy to communicate.We are happy that we gave sylvan a try!!

We absolutely loved the precious service the teachers are giving to us at Sylvan, Kirkland. The director is so cooperative, approachable and friendly, the teachers are so dedicated. My kids always look forward to a sylvan class even though they are tired from school. They love it!!! Performance is also improving!

It started a little slow and the boys enjoyed Sylvan due to the prize wall, but over time they enjoyed Sylvan because of the confidence they were building as strong readers.

My 8th grade son really needed some help with getting his homework done, study skills and time management in general. He is not a very motivated person and does the bare minimum to get by in school. He was a little reluctant to start going to Sylvan but just after the first few visits I've already noticed a big change. He is proactive about going, he thinks about what Sylvan can help him with and always has his bag organized and ready to go. This translates to school as well. I used to have to check his classes on a regular basis to help him stay on top of assignments, and now he's getting them done and turned in on time with very little help from me. It's a win all around. I just wish we would have signed up sooner.

Sylvan has been a great resource for my 2nd grader who needs a little boost with his writing. After just a couple months, we have seen improvements in his ability to add detail sentences and form paragraphs. Pat is fantastic and truly cares about all the children. Highly recommend the Kirkland Sylvan location.
