The results we've seen so far are great, but the turmoil with the Topeka location has been a bit disconcerting. We didn't have any issues wrapping up our remaining pre-paid sessions at Lawrence, but I'd hesitate to send a Topeka-area person to Lawrence several times a week for sessions as it just adds to the struggle to get the recommended number of sessions in because of the extra time/travel commitment.

The staff are knowledgable, friendly, flexible in changing schedules, and quick to respond to emails. Our son enjoys the token system and his tutors. Overall great experience!

Sylvan’s use of targeted assessments and mastery learning means my kid is being taught the precise content she didn’t learn in school and she can’t move on until she REALLY knows it.

My teen lost out on a lot due to Covid and sylvan is helping him feel like he can succeed. He likes the way he is taught. The parent meetings are helpful too.

Teachers are great! My kids learn a lot in a friendly environment. However the best thing ever happened is returning Mr Jamie Webb. I would say we had the experience of Sylvan without him which was a kind of disaster, nerve breaking, terrible ,etc.

I am a very happy parent. The tutors at Sylvan are providing exactly what I wanted this summer: a systematic review of what my chid didn't understand in her school's math curriculum last year plus a head start on the math topics that will be presented in her school in the fall. The Sylvan tutors are engaging with my child and highlighting her strengths. This has been a positive experience all around.

Our child is always happy leaving and has a great experience! I only say leaving as we are not allowed in due to safety measures and cannot see him in action, but he always has wonderful things to say. The school has seen an improvement in his work!

They are very professional, well educated and friendly people. The teachers are top notch and provide the best instructions any parent could ask for. Since taking our kid to Sylvan we've seen nothing but constant growth that any parent would be proud of.
