Both of my sons ( now in their 40's) , had great success with Sylvan (late 1980's). When one of my older grandchildren was struggling in school (he is now in his early 20's), Sylvan was there for him, also, and it was of tremendous help, especially because he had a learning disability. Now, my 7 1/2 yo grandson struggled in 1st grade. They wanted to retain him, but did not. We tried the school system's summer school, but it was not meeting his needs for reading and writing, so we enrolled him in Sylvan. So far, he has enjoyed the program and I am excited to see how much improvement he has made this summer going into his 2nd grade year.

The teachers are wonderful! My daughter feels comfortable going and learning with them. My daughter is developing skills that are needed to complete her class work at school. My daughter is excited to go and is excited to share her grades with me.
