Thank you for the blessing of serving your family! Your awesome works hard and we are so excited that he is seeing the fruit of his Sylvan labor in the classroom! :-)

Mrs. Wilson is beyond amazing with our son! She is so caring and patient and works with him in a way that has been extremely helpful for him. He struggles with math, and she helps him work through the parts that are more challenging for him and celebrates him when he succeeds. He is getting the focused learning that he has needed so that he can catch up in areas where he has been struggling.

My daughter is so excited in the morning on Tuesdays and Thursdays because she gets to go to Sylvan after school!!! She has been more eager to do extra math at home since she has started at Sylvan I’m not getting the pushback that I was before!! Thanks Sylvan!

Sylvan Oak Harbor is the best! They have helped my daughter get up to grade level learning and she still loves going, even after 2 years. My daughter struggles with Dyslexia and ADHD and had been behind in school since Kindergarten. Thanks to Sylvan she is a more confident and happy 5th grader.

Teachers and Administration are truly concerned how your child is progressing in their learning. Although there are set programs for specific skill sets, your child's plan is individualized according to their specific needs.

The Sylvan Oak Harbor team has been an incredible partner helping to support my son’s learning for the past six years now. The constant communication, flexibility and coaching from the Sylvan staff has helped make a dramatic difference in my son’s confidence and total learning. We focus on Math and English Language Arts but also include homework support as needed (virtual and in-person sessions). Big picture: the Sylvan team has helped bridge the gap during pandemic and post pandemic learning and my son is now a High School Freshman with straight As and Bs. Sylvan makes it a very personal and favorable relationship for their students and we couldn’t be happier with their services!

Can't speak any higher of the wonderful ladies at Sylvan. They have really helped my granddaughter go from flunking to passing..... She now takes pages and pages of notes and studies. So it is not just math for her. They have given her a level of confidence that the family has not seen in years. Great job, Sylvan.

Great people! Wyatt loves using his time at Sylvan with homework help or if no homework keeping skills up in Math, ELA or writing. Being able to utilize time for homework help has taken the stress of kiddo and YES the parents. I would highly recommend is your kiddo is struggling or not Sylvan is a GREAT Place.

Liz and Michelle are very knowledgeable, they listened carefully to our needs, and are providing taylored tutoring that perfectly matches our situation. I am really comfortable having my son tutored by Liz,and appreciate the way she communicates with me. My son and I both enjoy going to Sylvan, and we definitely plan to use them again if we have another need. The whole staff there are friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. I really couldn't be any happier with our experience there, it's a complete 10 out of 10, excellent experience.

My daughter has been going to Sylvan for over a year now. She was struggling with reading and phonics through COVID. She wasn't meeting grade level standards, and I was worried. I had remembered seeing a commercial for Sylvan at the local movie theatre, so I decided to give it a go. Michelle the owner, explained the process of the facility and staff with an impressively cheerful countenance at our first meeting. I am proud to say that after lots of hard work from my daughter and the staff at Sylvan, she is performing at grade level and is excelling. She enjoys reading now, which is such a wonderful blessing for me to see. I have seen more confidence in her with her peers and she now enjoys going to school more than ever I am beyond impressed and grateful. Thank you to her many teachers. Amaris Cash

Sylvan of Oak Harbor came to our rescue after an unexpected, but necessary, end of school transfer. The evaluation of my child was fun and engaging, as well as straightforward and transparent of where to start with the abilities assessed. The staff is exceptional, engaging, and provides the children with a safe and truly non-judgemental environment to learn. I haven't seen my child this excited to learn in amost 2 years as Sylvan makes my child feel at peace, and understands what makes my child tick. Sylvan takes the stigma out of anything negative one might connotate with the word 'tutoring.' I can't recommend Sylvan enough. As parents, we are extremely grateful; and we will be stayed with Sylvan as long as necessary.

Staff members have fantastic attitudes. My granddaughter loves Sylvan. They encourage her and make her feel good about herself. She has struggled for years with math and had such a defeatist attitude. Now she works hard, wants to learn the math rules and gets excited when she moves to the next phase. Never realized she had such beautiful teeth, now that I can see them in a beautiful smile. Thanks for giving her confidence, thanks for being her friends.

So far our experience with Sylvan has been excellent. We have seen a drastic change for the better for our son not only with attitude towards school, but overall. The sylvan staff has been extremely supportive, and helpful with getting the most and really connecting with our son. I would recommend sylvan to anyone who’s child may need some extra help for school.
