It’s exciting to be able to see the growth in my child’s writing in such a short period of time. It makes me so excited to see him take what he has learned from sylvan and use it in the classroom. So excited and can’t wait to see each milestone he reaches in his writing journey.
When we started Sylvan, my daughter absolutely refused to talk to us about her math homework. Her school was saying she was showing an uncooperative attitude, but I knew it was because her foundational skills were lacking and she did not want to admit that it was beyond her. Last night she let me keep her on track as she worked through her assigned homework sheet. That would be triumph enough -- but even though it was challenging for her, I saw she was so much more confident. She was able to find which problems she'd already solved might serve as building blocks for harder problems, and she was open to the idea that if she stayed focused and thought through the more difficult problems, she just might figure them out. (Which she did!). Thank you Sylvan! Let's keep going!
Every person I’ve interacted with has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. From my start with Lizette to my recent check in with Vanessa. This has been a challenge for us financially and with regard to having very busy schedules but the team at Sylvan Piedmont has helped ease the burden with their professionalism and obvious care for my child.
Alcee has already improved so much with his match skills after only a short time. We’re very happy with our decision to go with Sylvan.
We went from a non reader to reader in 3 months. We are thrilled with the level service and dedication we receive from the team at sylvan. Our 8 year old son feels so much more confident and proud of his progress. We are here for the long haul and could not be happier!
Our son has been struggling to read for the last couple of years, and we realized that we needed additional support. He just would not read with us at home. He likes going to Sylvan, and he seems to have made good progress.
Our senior has liked working with David. Our freshman just started and though she's a little intimidated by him and afraid to ask for clarification sometimes, I think we'll get there.
My son is feeling more comfortable and confident with his writing. He enjoys going to Sylvan, I don’t get any hesitation from him.
Can’t wait to see what more he learns. With spring break. Haven’t received any feedback from his teacher. But will be following and hoping to get great news.
