We are very happy with our child’s progress since starting her on the math support program with Sylvan. She has gained more understanding and confidence. My son was struggling with reading and writing and didn’t enjoy learning . Every time he went to sylvan learning he came out with a smile on his face and he enjoyed the would see little goals for him self with the point system to get rewards . In 7 months he made a huge improvement . I highly recommend this learning center !

My son has a strong connection with Christine that he hasn’t had with any other educator. She’s patient and explains the concepts very well. He’s had other educators tutor him, but he just wasn’t “getting it “ However, with Christine, he stays focused and absorbs what she is teaching. She’s also very friendly and kind. We’re very grateful!

My son struggles in math. Sylvan (Brendan) has given him strategies and techniques that really seem to be working for him. It's building up his confidence so much, I am so happy for him. I am receiving his weekly tests from school and they have "Big improvement!" and "Great Work!" written on them. It been really great experience for him so far :) Thank you!

So far our experience has been very positive with Christine at Sylvan! Our daughters marks are improving and Christine has been very accommodating to her. I wish we had to enroll sooner this year because of the good impact it has had. Looking forward to working with Christine again in August/September! Yay . It has been worth it.

The day I phoned Sylvan Learning to find my daughter a tutor for her math 20-2 was so easy. I had phoned other companies and was told they had to assess her and work through all her math to understand where they could help her. Not what I wanted. I needed a tutor that could sit with my daughter and help with only the specifics of the math she didn’t understand.
The lady who runs the Sherwood Park Sylvan Learning works with my daughter and she has been absolutely wonderful! The care for my daughter’s s grades are definitely a priority. My daughter tells me she feels so good after the hour she has spent at Sylvan learning.
(I have to include I am NOT spending as much as I would have going through the other companies or paying private.)
