Sylvan has been nothing short of amazing! We just got primary custody of my son this summer, and Sylvan has helped him transition from being multiple grades behind in some subjects, so quickly racking up A’s and B’s! Ms. Ginger and Ms. Shelley are amazing leaders, and they foster amazing relationships with all of the kids as if they were their own. They are patient, accommodating, thoughtful, and very strong/open communicators. I would happily send all of my children there year-round if I could!!! The value they provide goes far above and beyond the money you pay for the tutoring. Please please please send your kids to Sylvan!!!

The best thing I like about Sylvan is they are very flexible about program. That they not only tech one or two subjects , but also help with homework, or any other learning problem your child has. The people at Spartanburg sylvan center are very friendly and helpful.

This program is definitely helping my daughter to understand everything better. Give her interest in math which she never liked to do. It’s been a month. So moving forward I am sure I will see more and more changes in my daughter study. Every one is so wonderful at sylvan. Thank you so much

I have had positive results for individuals in three separate generations. First my daughter and son both attended sylvan in the early 2000s. My daughter needed a few items addressed and attended for a short time. My son needed more help after being identified and segregated for an IEP directed by the school we moved to attend led us to see what thorough assistance and support Sylvan had to offer. He attended and improved to the point that he no longer required the IEP and we petitioned to get it lifted. Our Sylvan instructor volunteered to attend the meetings to return him to all mainstream classes where he excelled for the remainder of his high school and into college. My wife, having quit school after being remanded to a severely implemented IEP starting early in her elementary years, attained her GED and wanted to further her education in college. We approached our Sylvan friends and added her to a Sylvan regimen to help span the gaps left from her poor public education experience. She attended for a couple months until work and home schedules required her to suspend her efforts. Sadly the Sylvan unit in our area that we had attended closed when we returned to restart the assistance. Since that time, My wife has earned and associates degree from York Tech and professional certifications as a CNA with ambitions to continue to learn for life. We currently have our grandson enrolled in Sylvan in Spartanburg where we have great confidence he will gain the competence and skill needed to support his education. He has been in two separate public schools already and there have been missed skills and topics identified by the new school but their proposed plan in my opinion falls short of what he requires. There is no doubt he has improved in just over one month attending Sylvan. Few can say they can do as much to teach as well as Sylvan for their own children when public schools fall short or even if nothing else is wrong but their child needs tutoring. Most of us benefit from the professional and dedicated efforts of Sylvan to improve our loved ones lives in many ways starting with basic education fundamentals.

Working with and for Sylvan of Spartanburg has been a complete joy. They have welcomed us into the Sylvan family and my daughter and I enjoy Sylan very much! It’s a great place to learn and work! Sylvan has helped my son, who has a learning disability, improve is his reading skills by a lot since he started going there. The teachers are committed to helping each individual child reach their goals. My son loves going to Sylvan and although they offer virtual sessions he always wants to be there in person because he enjoys being around the other kids and teachers.
