I’ve been extremely impressed with Sylvan Learning, where my son has been learning English writing for about two months now. The program is well-structured, starting with basic sentences, progressing to phrases, and eventually building up to short articles. This gradual approach has made writing feel less like a daunting task for him. In fact, he’s actually started to enjoy it! One of the best aspects of the program is that Sylvan lets him choose subjects he’s passionate about, which keeps him engaged and motivated to improve. The instructors are wonderful and truly understand how to make learning enjoyable while still pushing him to progress. I highly recommend Sylvan Learning to anyone looking for a thoughtful, effective, and personalized educational experience!

Although it has only been 1 month that our son has been with Sylvan we have noticed a difference in his confidence. We look forward to hearing from the learning centre and his school on if they see a difference is being made.

My daughter's math skills have improved exponentially since starting at Sylvan White Rock two months ago. She was getting 2/13, 4/15 on tests now she is getting 12/15, 13/13. It's incredible to see her skills, and confidence, improve so rapidly.

My daughter has been attending Sylvan for math for a month and we have already seen significant improvements in her math skills. She likes going to class, she likes all of the teachers she has works with and she is genuinely happy when she leaves at the end, especially when she has earned enough tokens to get a prize. I would definitely recommend Sylvan to anyone needing additional learning support.

I feel that my concerns for my children’s learning are being taken very seriously by Sylvan staff (Melanie Bannister). I have appreciated the deep conversations I have had with her when learning about the programs offered and in understanding the assessment that was done for my children. I have needed extra support in order to make Sylvan work for my son especially with some of the challenges he faces. I am impressed with the commitment to my sons learning plan as well as the communication that has to take place between school and Sylvan in order to facilitate this.
