It’s the simple fact that my child loves to go to tutoring and can’t wait to go back. My child struggles with math so to hear her talk about what she’s learning and explaining how to do whatever she learned makes my heart so happy.

My daughter has been taking the SAT prep and I’m the midst of the schedule she got hurt. Sylvan has adjusted the schedule and supported her to stay on schedule for her upcoming test! I appreciate the compassion and accommodation. She is learning a great deal and hasn’t been complain.. for a teenager that’s saying a lot. Her teachers have been pushing her and it will help her set good goals.

I am approximately half way through the course, and I feel like I am improving with my test scores. The teacher is very nice and patient. While it is not the fault of the teacher, I feel as though we are a bit rushed when going through the material as sometimes we have to skip practice problems in the course material that are designed to be completed during the sessions with the teacher. Perhaps they should have spread the material out more evenly and added an extra session to the course.

Sylvan has helped my daughter in short time shine with confidence, not only at school but at home with her reading and math. This is already well worth the money.

My son is on the spectrum and was struggling with basic math concepts, placing him three grade levels behind the actual grade he was in. Abstract concepts are tough for him. With the help of Sylvan we have been able to make up for those three years to get him almost at correct grade level math. He attends twice a week and it has been a game changer for him academically and confidence wise. We definitely owe a great deal to the teachers and staff at the York PA center!
