The front desk staff members are very helpful and want our experience at the Y to be enjoyable. And to also help us reach our goals of regular exercise to be more healthy and physically fit. We also work with our personal trainer to achieve these goals.

Workout equipment is in disrepair a lot, but still is more inclusive than others. I like being able to go to any Y with my membership. The water in the showers is always hot, even though they deep the temperature very low in the locker room even in the summer. In the winter the locker room and shower room is freezing cold and I with they would keep it at least 70 degrees in the winter. In the Summer I do not mind if the locker room and workout areas are 80 plus degrees.

Love the Tempe YMCA. My wife and I really enjoy working out with Rebekah in the group classes she leads. She is an excellent instructor!!

I like how it’s generally not overcrowded like most gyms. That’s what sold me in the first place. I can usually find a machine to use without waiting forever for it. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming , but also leaves you alone to jam out to your music and be in your zone :)
