The teachers are very kind and communicate so well. I feel that my daughter is safe and is learning a lot, which is the best you could ask for a program like this. I wish there was a little more freedom for her, Montessori-style, but I know that's not really the curriculum they have and that's okay. It does seem very appropriate and tailored to kids' interests
Everyone is very friendly. Alexis loves the children she works with, is great at communicating, and is very knowledgeable regarding child development and needs.
I really appreciate admin’s response to issues and questions as well as any feedback they have received. I do believe they try hard to make everyone feel happy and comfortable. I love the curriculum and I always feel like my kids are safe and loved. I haven’t met a teacher or staff member I don’t like and who isn’t great with the kids recently. My girls are so smart and I really believe a lot of it has to do with this school. My PreK student is held to high expectations and I know she is ready for kindergarten next year!
Our experience with the Academy has been great. Our son loves going there and has benefited tremendously from his interactions with the kind staff and other kids. Kids will be kids so of course there have been things to work through with other kids or his behavior, but we have always felt supported and listened to by the leadership of the school.
Fun school. Everyone knows each kid, from the teachers of other classes to the front desk. Welcome you when you come in every day. Always doing new things in class rooms. All kids seem to have a connection to a teacher(s). Kids are not running around crazy like there is no one in control. The app with updates from diaper changes to outside play or an accident are awesome, pictures are the best. Highly recommend.
We love all the activities they do, inside and outside, and the healthy snacks. Isa is exhausted when she comes home and it makes for a great bedtime routine! We love the Academy.
Ms Brecken and Ms Marisol are so kind and friendly and make a wonderful environment for the kids. The movement rooms indoors for winter are great for the kids. That was the original reason we chose The Academy, and the teachers are the reason we stay. We're very happy and have referred friends to the school.
My son has been at The Academy for three weeks and it’s been fantastic so far! He started a little late (we switched from a Goddard location close by that definitely did not stand up to our expectations), but he already feels right at home! His teachers (Ms Mari and Ms Brecken) are so kind and they’ve gone out of their way to make us feel welcome and I don’t have anxiety about sending my toddler to school for the first time. My son also has newly diagnosed asthma, and we feel confident with sending him in and feeling like his teachers (and other staff members) will give him the care that he needs. Communication has also been great, which is something I really look for in sending him to school. It’s been a great experience for the whole family and my son loves going to his“new school, new school, yay yay yay!”
under her care. It's such a relief to be able to focus on my work knowing that my children are well taken care of at the same time. Mrs. Emily has been a wonderful caregiver for both of my sons, and I am grateful for the peace of mind that comes with knowing they are in good hands. It's a true blessing to have a job that allows me to be close to my children while also providing for our family.
