Bar is my happy place. It's filled with positive energy and fills me up with the amazing community. I get the best strengthening workout and love all of the instructors. It's always hard. I can always strive to be better. I can always guarantee that I will be happy I went. It has been the most enjoyable exercise I have ever done and was wonderful through my pregnancy as well. I could go on and on. Kc Bar Method- I love you.
I love working out, but have fought injuries the last several years that prevented me from doing the workouts I enjoyed (ones that were hard and truly changed my body!). Bar focuses on technique (which prevents injuries and allows you to mindfully avoid them) without sacrificing amazing body changing results. I didn't know this combo existed and am psyched to be a part of Bar--something that keeps me lean and toned, but allows me to listen to my body.
Personal attention in group atmosphere...you know the teachers are watching you, just about the time you're about to slack, or just as you do, they catch you ;)!
I would love to see a another mixed level over lunch instead of mainly express classes, or more variety of levels offered throughout the day (for instance bar move or level 2 offered over lunch or at the 10:45 class).
The instructors make the classes fun. If they know you by name you get a personal touch in class. Going to different days and different times helps you to experience different routines even though the method is the same.
Personalized attention to form & safety. Flexibility (i.e., THANK YOU AMY for letting me switch into another class at the last moment when I was running late!). The free passes to bring a friend to try it out (which I've finally begun putting to good use). And WHAT THE WORKOUT HAS DONE FOR MY OWN BODY. (Noticed by my hubby of 25 years, too, by the way, so thanks for that!) ;)
