From the minute I interacted with the staff at The Bar Method Portland I felt welcome. Jill booked two classes for me. Rachel was so warm and kind when I arrived for my first visit. Shaina taught a killer class. I was so impressed with the strength and stamina of the clients in my class. I was also humbled when Simon, another client, offered condolences for the passing of the Kansas City Bar Method owner, Hoddy Potter. Sylvia was in class with me and was very approachable, even recommending places for breakfast after class. My second visit was equally as enjoyable. Nicole and Amber greeted me with friendly smiles and introduced me to Beth, my instructor. Beth's class was fun and challenging too. Elisa, teacher in training, did a great job teaching round back and flat back. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Portland Bar Method studio. Your studio is beautiful, clean, inviting, and clearly shows the dedication of your staff and clients to the method. I am proud to be a part of the Bar Method community when I visit your studio. Thank you for a delightful visit!
Front desk staff and instructors friendly and welcoming, addressing everyone--even newbies--by name.
Instructors check and correct form of every person in room for seemingly every exercise. Truly impressive. This is what would keep me returning.
Exercises protect back, shoulders, and knees.
Instructors are motivating in a positive way.
Facility clean, bright, and warmly decorated.
Teachers are very professional and appropriately enthusiastic. I'm always one of the least able people in class but am never made to feel inferior. I appreciate that and it keeps me coming back. The classes have made a BIG difference for my arthritis...my rheumatologist is learning about barre because of this.
It is a very friendly & welcoming atmosphere. The facility is impeccable. The instructors are kind and supportive. It has been only two days of workouts for me, but I have enjoyed both (there was variety), and my body feels like it is getting a great workout.
