Since I am a somewhat regular customer, I enjoy the experience of talking with Michelle while getting my hair washed, cut, and dried. She does a lovely job with my hair, but she is also a very personable person.

I like the overall vibe at The Chair and the name alone makes me smile. Michele and I always have a fun and interesting chat while I get my hair cut. Love my shampoo and massage too. I also take my mom to a salon in the suburbs every six weeks or so. Yawn.

A salon that feels local. It’s relaxed, without attitude or inflated prices. The stylists clearly know their craft and take the time to give thoughtful, well-executed cuts that suit the person rather than chasing trends. You get the sense that they care about doing good work and building long-term clients. The atmosphere is easygoing and unpretentious. I was looking for a great cut without paying a premium for hype or branding and was pleasantly surprised!
