The DM classes are very effective for getting in shape and focusing on the body, particularly core strength. The facility is lovely and they offer childcare. There are towels to use and other amenities if you need to freshen up after a class. The staff is great!
Lots of things:
-the sense of community
-the option for 45 minute classes (in and out!)
-the wonderful instructors
-it's five minutes from my house
-it's affordable compared to many other studios in town
Love the variety of classes. I appreciate that the class schedules change to reflect the what is going on with the members. Teachers are personable, helpful, and always keep it interesting.
I really just cant say enough good things! My body and mind have never been in such good shape. The community and staff are not only welcoming and inviting but so attentive and knowledgeable. I always felt pushed to be the best version of myself in body, mind and spirit. What tdm has provided me with i can’t put a price on.
Dear Stacie and Team: I love EVERYTHING - except the frequent and inconveneint (for me, cvertainly, but for others as well) changes we have seen to schedules over the last year. It seems kind of unending. I think many people get into a routine that allows us to make our class schedule while meeting other requirements. I realize there are many at the studio who have more flexible time because even the heavy responsibilities of child care without a regular work schedule may enable one to get to classes during the middle of the day, for example, which is just not possible for those of us who work. I suspect that is a substantial number.
I realize from what you have told me that many people wanted 6 a.m. cardio. Okay, but then to have the noon class taken away on TW (now T/Th) has been another unwelcome change. I have heard others who are unhappy about both these changes, but obviously we must be in a minority. I do know, though, that for many years after the studio opened - and even after we started incorporating interval then the other cardio classes - we were able to keep a very busy 6 a.m. class that was either barre or express bar. I really miss that.
I am trying very hard to get back into a daily Dailey, but I don't think there is any way I can without a go-to 6 a.m. class. If I can';t make a 6 a.m. class, I am almost always out of town, so I can't make any other classes, either. This is particulary important during challenges which I use to motivate me to get in every day, but I often just can't if I don't get my class in first thing in the a.m.
Anyway, I know you are doing all you can to make everyone happy. But I have heard many people comment that the repeated changes have inconvenienced them and they cannot get into a routine. If you look back over the frequent changes made over the last year, you may understand why.
Just wanted you to know - thx for ujnderstanding, and I know you must do the best for the most people. But whatever you do, I think you should hold still longer and not make as many changes. :-) [FIRST NAME REMOVED]
The front desk staff, instructors and regular participants made me feel very welcome from the moment I walked in the studio. Although I was a bit intimidated at first, I saw lots of familiar faces and friends who helped set me up. The sculpt class I took was more challenging than I expected, but the instructor and energy of the others in the class kept me motivated to keep going.
The studio is bright, cheerful and clean and the equipment is well kept. I thought I was in shape before the class, but am excited about pushing myself to get better! What a great workout! I look forward to going back!
Every week I love something else. This week I’m grateful for the varied schedule offering me lots of class options, the warm community and the upcoming challenge that will help me shed my summer gelato pounds.
