Love the Strong classes but with there were more optional times in the evening. Like having the quieter room in the back. Bathroom area is nice but needs more "dressing rooms" with a door...there's 1!!!
Instructors are excellent
I suggest a statement that if you find something please turn it in to the lost and found at front desk
Stealing is a crime.
I lost Nike sneakers because I left them by mistake in the shower room
Great staff !! Marilyn is an amazing trainer. I love that the training experience comes with a meal
Plan . The gym is always clean and there’s lots of activities to choose from at the few locations I’ve been to.
Edge Fitness is the kind of gym that makes you actually want to work out, which is a rare superpower in itself. From the moment you step in, it's like a breath of fresh air — not because of the gym’s air fresheners (though those are top-tier), but because everything is so neat and clean, you’d think a team of perfectionist elves is on staff. The staff are friendly to the point where you almost feel like they’re your personal cheerleaders, giving you high-fives as you crush your reps. The equipment? Oh, it’s there—plenty of it—like a buffet for your muscles, ensuring you never have to wait to use anything. Even on busy days, there’s always room to stretch, flex, or just awkwardly attempt that yoga pose you've seen on Instagram. The vibe is fun, not “let’s get serious and never smile” serious. People of all fitness levels are working hard, and somehow everyone leaves feeling like they've just had a great time. Whether you’re into heavy lifting, cardio, or just pretending to be in a Rocky montage, Edge Fitness has something for you. Plus, their classes are so good, you'll forget you're even working out until you're drenched in sweat and wondering where all that energy came from. All in all, Edge Fitness doesn’t just help you build muscle; it helps you build a smile.
Variety of equipment and classes.
However, here are some suggestions to improve. Please keep in mind these are for the Fairfield location.
1. Weights etc are often left on the floor overnight and therefore certain areas look messy the next morning. Not a good look!
2. Staff should be trained to (periodically ) “walk the floor” and see if anyone has questions such as how to use a machine or where a machine is. When I’ve approached the desk with questions, they were not helpful. There seems to be a lot of down time with your staff. Honestly, customer service could improve.
3. Pls train your trainers to not talk loudly w their clients…not everyone needs to hear them and many of us just want to focus on our own workout.
4. You’ve made many positive changes but please consider remodeling locker rooms and bathrooms. Very dated…needs light and modern look. And please add a shelf in the bathrooms for our cell phones.
5. Consider lowering the volume of the gym-wide music. 99.9% of us have our own music and most of the time I can’t hear my own due to the volume of yours.
Despite the above, you have a good gym for the price.
Thanks.
