I really like the gym and the equipment. I want to say the place is always clean and I like the equipment used. The staff always greets me when I enter and exit.
Originally, I did have the highest membership, however I prefer the equipment in the main gym then in the Women's only area. I used the Women's only area as a backup when I could not get to a machine in the main area. Since I was not using it all the time I decided to lower my membership. However, I think the Women's only area is a nice concept. It allows women to work out in an environment that they may feel more comfortable.
I love the Cinema. When I do cardio, I use that area. There is a good variety of equipment, and the movies are a nice distraction.
I enjoy taking spinning classes and need to utilize more classes. There is a large verity of classes and times. It seems they are well attended.
Unfortunately for me this site is very popular and crowded. I understand why the Edge gyms are popular. I have been a member for several years and prefer Edge gym over other gyms.
My feedback is that some of the machines are occupied for a long time. There are many visits where I am not able to complete my workout. I try to compensate with a free weight or alternative workouts. I am old school, and I do not wait a long time between sets. Not sure if this has changed but many people tend to wait an extended time between sets. I could be doing it wrong. I see a lot of phones and iPad being used during workouts. So, with there only being one of many machines, machines can be occupied for an extended time. I am trying to find a time that I can get there when it is not as crowded. I have found other sites are less crowded, however they are further for me to go.
I think the womans only area is very good to build confidence or protect privacy, but i think it needs more and updated equipment. Every location has more than one piece of equipment that is out of order everytime i visit
