My daughter has enjoyed the program for the last 3 years and has improved in her golf game. I also love how the coaches discuss core values that will guide her beyond the course. Keep up the good work. The prices are pretty reasonable as well and we love the Kiln Creek course. Thanks so much for this rewarding experience. She plans on trying out for the golf team and maybe even get a scholarship for college.
My grandson (Gregory Price) loved the experience. He's been hitting golf balls since he could walk and we encourage him to keep it up. He always looks forward to going to the First Tee classes and we play to keep him attending as he grows up. We liked the attention each child got and the interaction between teachers, volunteers and students. We heard from friends that the First Tee was a great thing for children and we thoroughly agree.
I love the different programs for homeschoolers and would love to be a part of more, if they become available. The homeschool PE class doesn’t work with my work schedule but if it did, we would join that as well.
We love the first tee program, my daughter loves the no pressure atmosphere. We will be back next season even though we had spotty attendance this past season (New baby in the house is difficult).
Thanks,
I love the experiences our daughter has had with golf and within the golf community. The program is not just about teaching golf but learning and implementing life skills that make good humans. We are so fortunate to have found an amazing program like this!
The First Tee program has been wonderful for my daughter for the last three years. She has improved in skills and confidence. Thanks to all the wonderful and patient instructor.
My daughter LOVES golf lessons through First Tee. We did have trouble with the professionalism when working with young children that came from the older gentleman who was coaching at Kiskiak (Tuesday 5:55p class). He was overhead several times making sarcastic comments to the children. Maybe it was all for fun...but he didn’t seem to understand the difference between talking with adults and with children.
Another concern I had was that there didn’t seem to be any consideration for families who rented clubs that were from Williamsburg. One collection on the last day would have been incredibly helpful for those of us who live and work in Williamsburg and didn’t make it down to Kiln Creek during business hours very often.
The First Tee has been a great experience for my son. The program is structured very well.
It provides a space to learn the game and more importantly, lessons that will be useful in life going forward. I have the most sincere appreciation and thanks for all of the coaches and staff who give their time working with my son.
