Thank you for keeping our kid safe and making learning fun. Keep doing more of that.
Opportunities:
Please continue exploring food options that are age appropriate for simple palates (sauce on the side).
Can more be built in to lesson plans and training to help the big kids with their big feelings?
Could lessons be built in to teach the kids about recycling?
The teachers are kind and loving to the children and really go out of their way to communicate with parents. The curriculum is very good and my daughter is loving to learn which is wonderful to see in her. I would recommend the Gardner School in a heartbeat!
There has been a 180 degree turn in the types of teachers that work here. They are mostly friendly. They acknowledge the kids when they come in the room. They do not sit on their ipads and phones all day.
This was not the case a year ago, so thank you. These were all the changes we needed to see in order to stay.
It is 100% the people that matter here. Everything else is far behind in second when it comes to our kids. We trust that they are in caring and safe hands now. Thank you!
We love Ms. Katie and Mr.Steve, they are wonderful. Everybody is so kind and helpful.
TGS has a great team, Ashley and Jessica make everything much easy.
Right away the school and teachers felt welcoming. Ms. Katie and Mr. Steven are so kind and caring - I feel at ease knowing that my daughter is safe and comfortable with them. I love how detailed the updates in the app are and I love all the photos. It’s really cool knowing what she’s doing all day and when - like how they tell us when they’re on the green, how much food she ate, and when nap started and ended. The classroom and school is always clean and picked up too and I love how structured the days are for the kids. Best school and best decision we’ve made!
The teachers/staff are incredibly reliable, friendly, communicate well, and above all, they love our child more than I could have ever hoped for! She gets a lot of great interaction, support, and socialization that will do nothing but benefit her! It is so nice to have an indoor play space, crib sheets, milk, meals, etc. included in tuition (they weren’t in other schools we looked at!)
I want to give a massive shoutout to everyone involved in my daughter’s education. She has grown and developed so much since starting with the TGS, and the progress she has made is evident. She and I were doing a color-by-number, and she pointed out the names of each color. She paused briefly and said, “Look, Mommy, I know how to read.” Hearing that made me smile ear to ear. She is so excited to learn, and I’m happy we found TSG! Thank you all!
We are new to the Gardner school as of August this year. We feel the price matches the value and is competitive for the area and other daycares. We feel the teachers are generally happier, helpful, and really get to know families. We also like the green and opportunity for our daughter to interact with kids of older ages which has enhanced her learning.
Things I Love About Mia's Daycare:
1. Enhanced Communication: The new leadership has improved the way information is shared. We always feel informed and included.
2. Organized Transitions: Mia's transition to her new classroom was smooth and celebratory. We had ample notice to prepare, making the change less stressful for her.
3. Wonderful Classroom Sizes: The teacher-to-child ratios are fantastic, ensuring Mia receives the attention she deserves.
4. Dedicated and Skilled Teachers: The teachers are well-trained and care about each child. Their commitment shines through in everything they do. Also, there is a lot of longevity with the teachers. Mia has had the same teachers since she was 3 months old and started. We are very privileged for her to have that stability and be able to keep growing those relationships with the staff.
5. Frequent Updates: I love receiving pictures of Mia throughout the day. It helps us feel connected and see her enjoying her time there.
6. Developmental Insights: The parent/teacher conferences, even for the little ones, are invaluable. They give us a clear picture of Mia's growth and development compared to home.
7. Supportive Environment: The daycare has cultivated a welcoming community. It's reassuring that Mia is in a safe, nurturing space while we are apart.
8. Responsive to Change: Despite initial uncertainties when classroom sizes decreased, and a classroom closed, the daycare has adapted and stabilized, showing resilience in the face of challenges.
9. Celebration of Milestones: The way they acknowledge and celebrate Mia's achievements makes us feel special and valued as a family that trusts most of our kids' time to this daycare.
10. Strong Recommendations: Thanks to the improvements and positive experiences, I feel confident recommending this daycare to friends and family.
Overall, I'm so grateful for Mia's daycare's positive impact on her growth and our family's peace of mind.
